I rarely write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to deserve one. My friends, colleagues, and I (a group of about 12 people) decided to celebrate an occasion and booked a suite in this hotel located in the heart of JVC, Dubai. The room came with a large terrace and a private pool — exactly what we were looking for to enjoy the evening and relax after a long week at work. However, the entire experience turned into a complete disappointment. From the very start, it became obvious that the hotel is not built for guests who want to have even a modest celebration. The structure of the building is such that every sound echoes through the walls, so even normal conversation on the terrace apparently “disturbs” everyone around. Throughout the night, hotel staff came to our room more than fifteen times to complain about noise. Fifteen times! We were not throwing a wild party — just sitting, talking, listening to music, and having a few drinks. Yet, instead of allowing us to enjoy the evening we paid for, the staff kept knocking on the door, interrupting us every 10–15 minutes. Their attitude was rude and unprofessional. I completely understand basic hotel rules, but when you pay a solid amount for a 5-star room with a terrace and pool, you expect a certain level of privacy and respect. What’s even more frustrating is that the staff acted like it was my fault that the building is poorly sound-insulated. I was repeatedly told that “other guests are complaining” — as if that somehow justifies ruining our night. If the hotel cannot handle guests using their terrace the way it’s intended, then they simply shouldn’t advertise it as a place suitable for relaxation or gatherings. Overall, I left with a very bad impression. The hotel does not deliver on the 5-star standard it claims to have. Poor sound insulation, constant staff interference, and an overall unfriendly attitude from management completely spoiled what was supposed to be a memorable evening. Definitely not recommended if you’re looking for a place to actually enjoy your stay in peace.

First impressions: The reception is small and does not make an impression. They are greeted kindly. The number seems to be smaller than in the photo in the booking. Everything is clean, but the furniture is clearly worn out. There is a lot of construction around, and the main sights are clearly visible from afar. As it got dark, music began to resonate loudly from nearby buildings.

A nice, very private hotel, if you are not tied to the sea view or to swimming in the sea, because it is far from the sea. We didn't need the sea in Dubai, it's too hot)) we wanted our own pool, our own equipped kitchen and maximum privacy. The pool is 0.9 meters, very comfortable in temperature, because of the roof above, it is almost always in the shade, refreshing, as well as on the balcony a chaise longue in the form of a spacious bed, bar stools and a table, upholstered furniture with a view of the city. The room is 200 meters, cozy, everything you need is there, a microwave and dishes such as pots and pans on request, by default this is not in the room. The food in the restaurant is excellent, in fact everything we ordered was delicious, quesadillas, mashed potatoes, rice with chicken, chicken strips, chicken wings, burgers, they bring within 30+/-minutes with a huge variety of sauces, everything is a little bit, except mashed potatoes))but not so much that it was critical. Dubai Mall is 30 minutes away by taxi, Legoland is a little longer than 35-37 minutes, the rest of the famous points in the city are +/- next to these. There are practically no parties to be heard or seen, and this was relevant to us. The service is unobtrusive, adequate to requests. Important: there are a lot of construction sites nearby, which seems to be familiar to Dubai, but for some it may be an unpleasant addition. Excellent location in the area of JVC, perhaps the advantages end there. - the rooms are nice, with a balcony. There are rooms with a swimming pool or Jacuzzi. - there is a cleaning service, but: when changing rooms, in a new room, it was only in the morning that they noticed that the previous tourist had left a bag with food and biological waste. How can you clean up like that? The room was replaced because the noise from the construction site was carried out by the brain and the dispensers in the bathroom were not working. - food. Breakfast buffet, from 6:30. Lunch and dinner at the HB on the menu. There are 5 locations to choose from, in fact: "Goose" is pre-ordered only....and only snacks. There are only snacks and sandwiches in the snack bar by the pool. On the ground floor, the cafeteria (5th floor) and another location on the 5th floor are delicious. - reception desk. A song without words... Huge queue early in the morning (check-in, check-out...) are standing...a woman in national clothes came up and was served without waiting in line??? In fact, they don't solve problems, but mask them. There is no way to exchange currency at the reception. There was no local currency at check-in and they offered to leave euros as a deposit for the tourist tax. Categorical refusal, even to the point that we cannot accommodate you. Are you kidding, right? We ordered a transfer to the beach of the Five Lux hotel We arrived on time, it turned out that we were traveling in a car with 4 people. I'm sorry, but a very large man and his lady sat down there, who practically lay on top of him. I say, how's that? A car for 4 people. Sit down. They sat down. I had to squirm a little to make it clear that they weren't alone. Ugh. It was more fun on the way back - this man got into the car in WET shorts, in which he swam in the sea. And to my surprise, the answer is, well, it's wet, so sit down. I had to move his lady from the other side. At the reception, they saw this situation with seats or wet shorts - they smiled and said they would wipe the seat. - pools are shallow 2 pools of 80cm and 90cm. Please note that there is no heating! Do not believe the information posted by tour operators in Russia. Heated by the sun. The water heats up by 15-16 hours.

It's a decent place. The standard room is not large, but it is quite cozy. A high floor and a balcony are a good combination for a pleasant evening. The bed is comfortable. You can't hear the noise from the construction sites around you through the closed window. The elevators are fast, the location is not bad, but transport is needed. Approximately 30 minutes from jbr and other places. The restaurant is edible, but nothing more.

Checked in in the middle of the night, without reservation. A very nice girl, Alina, spoke Russian at the reception. She settled in for 450 dirhams, said right away that she would make a late check-out at 2 p.m. for free so that I could sleep it off. I gave the 30th floor, also as a compliment (rooms are more expensive on higher floors) I went into the room and my jaw dropped to the floor. The view is beyond words, it blocks the breath. Perfectly transparent glass on the balcony and the feeling that you are standing on the edge of the roof. Panoramic bathroom, very comfortable huge bed with lots of pillows. In general, I stayed here for 2 days, I didn't want to leave. I had to pay 1.5 times more for the second day, there was another administrator. Advice - ask Russian managers. I came across a very nice girl who just threw buns that cost money. It left a very pleasant impression.

We had a rest with friends, rented a penthouse of 500 squares on the 50th floor) a spacious kitchen / living room, the same type of small 4 bedrooms. In addition to the toilets in each bedroom, which were behind a glass wall, there were 2 separate toilets, which is important)) The balcony was huge) there are sun beds, and a small pool, and a sofa with a table, and a dining table) at which, by the way, we had dinner a couple of times, ordering a private grill party) they rolled us a buffet and grilled shrimp, meat and fish to order) we liked it) especially seafood) from the general menu, I don't like food I especially went in) the shawarma was straight as oriental as possible, fat, the meat is not in the form in which it is cooked here. Dolma was very sour. The guys didn't really like Shakshuka either) well, as they say, the taste and color) but I really liked the royal shrimp)) Not everyone thought about taking a tanning product, we found a spray shop in the spa area. So don't repeat our mistakes)) the margin is doubled)) and the can for 2t cost 4t) The location is not particularly convenient) we drove 35-40 minutes to the beach at Fairmont) to the Dubai Mall about the same time to go) What I didn't like was the lack of privacy on the balcony, where we actually hung out most of the time. You can look over the railing from your balcony to see what the neighbors from below are doing, and your neighbors from above can also come to stare at you whenever they want. So one evening we were annoyed by the Indians who arrived at night and looked out to us every 5 minutes. In the photo, you can see the railings of the neighbors' balconies from above. This is an ingenious decision of the designer👍

Unusual architecture of the building, scale… But if you pay attention to the quality of the finishes, the serviceability of the plumbing, the cleanliness of the rooms, then you quickly get disappointed. The cost does not match🤷🏽♀️. It is better to look for something more modest, with a more convenient location and new. It will be more profitable and will not disappoint. The hotel is far from the sea. By taxi, it takes 30 minutes (if there are no traffic jams). There is a strip club on the ground floor.
