April 19, 2025
Anyway, they lost my wedding ring. I don't recommend this place to anyone. In short: on February 18, 2025, the ring was repaired (a pebble flew out) - we were kindly greeted and told that there were no problems at all, they would insert it, but the ring would go to the factory and arrive in a month. March 30 - the ring finally (!!) arrived, but it turned out not to be mine. At the same time, they said that they would pay us an additional 800 lira because for some reason the ring lost weight during the repair. We arrived - the ring is not mine. All the girls in the store looked at me in surprise - they didn't believe that it wasn't mine. I had to go to get my husband's ring (we have paired rings) and to get photos of the ring in order to really convince the sellers. OK, they took it back, they said they would sort it out. On April 2, a couple of days later (and March 30 is the first day of Bayram), a message came to WhatsApp that my ring had been found, but it had been sent to another location and that I would receive my ring around April 15. Today is April 15th - there is nothing. The store is going to the factory.... Well, I don't care who's to blame. The mess is probably both in the store and in the factory. The bottom line is that my wedding ring is still missing. No one is responsible for anything. And this is not some kind of gold point in an alley, it's a reputable company store that seems to be quite well-known. What if I were a tourist? Would I have been double- or triple-fooled? Just think about it - a tiny repair (just insert 1 cubic zirconia) turned into the fact that from February 18 to the current moment I don't have my ring and again we are not being told anything specific. There are 5 employees in the store all the time, but... none of them want to work. If I had messed up like that, I would have bought a plane ticket myself and would have dealt with the mixed-up items as a matter of urgency - but that's not the case at all. Avoid it in short, it's a dangerous place. Addendum: On April 16, the store called, sent a photo of the ring, and told them to come. We arrived today on Saturday. As I understand it, my wedding ring went to an unknown destination and the factory tried to recreate the ring based on the photo and weight. I noticed the differences in the fact that the white part of the ring used to be more ribbed (and looked more voluminous) and the inner altynbash logo also looked different. I will not prove the logo - there is no photo, but I will add a photo of my husband's ring and my "new" ring (on my original ring, the white part was the same in texture, and now it is smoother). I didn't swear in the store anymore, so as not to upset my husband... and what would I have been able to prove there? The store apologized, gave me silver jewelry- well, I don't need it at all, I don't wear it. I still have a nagging question about who stole my ring? Was it resold? Did the secretary or the jeweler's relative like it?... such thoughts) If you've finished reading, I highly recommend taking pictures and maybe even videoing everything and everyone around you, when you're even just giving something away for repairs. And not only in alynbash, but apparently in any jewelry store.
