I ate Egyptian food in Egypt, but somehow Tasha was able to impress me even more. The sausage with rice was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, the shawarma in lavash was satisfying, and the tahini was tender and fragrant. Even the side dishes—pickled vegetables and French fries—were perfect. The restaurant is decorated with Egyptian symbols and photographs, which creates a warm, cultural atmosphere. The staff doesn't speak English very well, but it's easy to order with the picture menu.
