Buyukada Island is a great place for a day trip from Istanbul. It should be noted that marine trams run to the island from several marinas; we set off from Eminenyu station. If you stand with your back to Sultanahmet and your face to the Galata Bridge, then the pier is on the left side of the bridge. We need to look for Adalar, it's better to ask. Sail for about 1.5 hours, Buyukada Island is the last stop, the 4th and last island of the Prince Islands. Rent a bike and take a ride around the island.

I do not recommend paid beaches at all. Fall for the possible comfort, sun beds. As a result, it sucks ((( the music is rumbling (the most moronic). There is a nook in the sea. It's like being in a pen. I don't know if there are wild beaches on the islands, but I highly recommend not paying. The island itself is the most charming. Be sure to go up to the monastery. Enough health - on foot. If it's not enough, take the bus. The abandoned orphanage - by the way, the largest wooden building in Europe - is very picturesque. And nature is amazing. It's the kind of sight that lasts a lifetime.

I went on 7.07.25 and it was quite hot. On Monday at 9:40, I was already on the ferry to the island. It was quite cool in the morning, there was a wind on the water. I left at 6:15 p.m., because I was afraid there would be a lot of people. That was basically enough time for me. The first thing I decided to do was have a doner lunch. (200+60 kola), then rented a bike for a day (300 lire; 1 hour -100 lire). First we had to get used to the horse, there was also a basket in front) I got to the paid parking (60lr) you can also sit there with a beautiful view and have a picnic (to buy food in advance at the store only), I was just passing through, watched the views, lay in a hammock. Then she moved on along the large bicycle ring. I stopped by to see the monastery of St. George + an observation deck. But it is necessary to climb uphill ~ 800m (we park the bike for 30 lire and stomp), it is impossible to do this with a bike. Some people will get there in 15-25 minutes, others a little longer, it's very difficult. They let you into the monastery for free. After that, I drove on, and there were amazing views along the way!!! Stopped every 5 minutes. Around 17 o'clock I got there and handed over my bikes, walked around the area, bought an ice cream 100 lire, drank an ice latte (220 lire, it was delicious). I looked into a store with silver jewelry, but there were questions about the stones in the products (it costs from 580-900 lire in general, the price is normal, but I had to live on something else for a day), I decided to stomp for a ticket for the way back. Overall, I'm very happy, it seems that I need at least another day.

A beautiful island. An island of cats with no mice. You can find a place to swim, but it's better to go to the Kynalyada. Beautiful park (paid for cheap). It's free to go around the island. :) You can climb up, there's a church. Bike rental. Minus THE PRICE. No need to eat in a restaurant with a sea view. The price tag is horse. Plus, you can find food in stores. The rent is about 110 dollars a day for a three-piece. There's a ferry to the mainland every hour (and more often). It was the best vacation of my life.

The island is beautiful, you want to walk and look at the beautiful streets with cute houses, it is interesting to hear about the outstanding personalities who lived on the island at different times. We visited the church of St. Nicholas - he lived on the island. We had lunch at a cafe by the sea, unfortunately there were only a few hours to visit, ideally to stay for a few days to explore and consider everything. The island is large, there is bicycle rental, there are electric car tours

It's very beautiful, but it's rubbish. The approach to the sea is almost everywhere blocked by paid beaches. There are several places where you can go down on your own at the risk of your health/life. It's very cool there, but there's also trash everywhere. I was disappointed by the lack of public beaches, where you can take a sunbed at will, or not take it, buy drinks at the bar, or not buy it. I think 2-3 days is quite enough to enjoy the island, and the neighboring ones too. I would like to note the convenient logistics: municipal shuttle boats sail on schedule to Istanbul, neighboring islands, and the other shore, so you can diversify your stay on the island at any time.

It's a very big contrast after the bustling streets of Istanbul on the mainland. It is green here, there are no cars (only electric cars and cars of municipal services of the city). You can rent a bicycle. We decided to walk and were not mistaken: the terrain there is hilly and every now and then there were people pushing a bike uphill. Lots of cozy cafes.

The largest and most beautiful island of the Prince Islands is Adalar. We walked all day. Unforgettable impressions, grab food for the cats in the park where there are picnics on the island, they are very hungry)) We were on the coast at the pier, then walked along the streets, saw Trotsky's house, the Cathedral of Christ, etc., then climbed the mountain to the very top where the monastery and the restaurant, if you go deep into it, there is a very beautiful place for the review. Then we went down and went to the picnic park, there is a paid entrance, inexpensive about 300 rubles. There we had a snack with food bought at the store at the pier, rested and went back in the evening we sat in a restaurant by the pier and ate balyk durum very tasty. After dark we boarded the ferry and left for the city))

A great place to visit. The Kabatash - Adalar ferry departs from Kabatash Marina. See the schedule on the Internet. The island looks like a typical Mediterranean one. Regular electric buses run around the island. The island is small and bright. It is recommended to visit to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul.

Of course to visit! Its own flavor and atmosphere. Istanbul is a completely different place... but there are also the same touts and a lot of food outlets. Bike rental in the area of 5 euros per hour. Lunch for two with service and some kind of charge in the receipt will cost around 1000-1500 TL.

This is a place where you can have a great rest, tourists used to be transported on the island by horse-drawn carriages, now of course they have been replaced by electric transport. There are a lot of places where you can have a delicious meal, walk around the island and look at houses built in different styles and years, there are specially designated places for swimming and living on the shores of the Marmara Sea. And in the evening, you can go to Istanbul and spend time at your own discretion. Ferries and sea taxis are at your service.

Come for the whole day. You can rent a bike for about 200-300 liras for the whole day (you need one passport), but it is a little difficult to ride them through the mountains. There are many cafes, market shops and department stores near the port at reasonable prices, it even seemed a little cheaper than in Istanbul. If you walk through the market square, there will be free streets where transport does not pass so often and very few people walk. There are shops on the island's waterfront. There are a lot of cats near the houses, they were met in almost every yard. A ferry runs from the island for 80 lira (as of September 2024) every hour, the last one from this island at 19:00

The largest of the Prince Islands and the fourth in a row. The main advice is to spare no effort and climb to the top of the island! There is a Greek monastery there, and the steepest spot overlooking the sea and other islands. It will be cool if you catch a sunset there. In addition to the mountain, there are many cafes, parks, beaches and roads on the island that you can walk around the entire island in a day.

A clean island, there are no problems with transport, which is good. There are many places to eat, the sights are interesting, but it is better to walk by yourself, since not everything is shown on excursions, And if they are shown, then out of the corner of your eye.

This is not an interesting place promoted by bloggers, but in fact there is nothing to look at: other people's houses, high fences and crowds of people pointlessly loitering on the street and peering over other people's fences … but a ferry ride through the four Prince Islands is worth it - the views are gorgeous to Istanbul and the islands!

Turkey is a completely different country here. You have to come here, just to understand it with all your soul. If possible, take cat food with you. There are a lot of people who are sooo thin. I wanted to relax here for a few days in the summer to enjoy this aesthetic!
