Chateau Hill, or as it is also called Castle Hill (La Colline du Chateau), is considered one of the main attractions of Nice. It got its name because of the castle that stood here in the Middle Ages, built in the XI century. You can climb the mountain by elevator, but there is also a staircase. There is also a park and a waterfall on the mountain. And, of course, there are gorgeous panoramic views that open from different points of the park. From here you can see the Old Town of Nice, the Promenade des Anglais, many mansions and ancient streets, as well as the harbor.
