I recommend that you visit the unique Alexander Lutheran Church, explore it from the outside and inside, it is difficult not to notice, the octagonal blue tower with a bell and a pointed spire reach 61 meters. The church was built in the neo-Romanesque style in 1881-1884 and named after the memory of Emperor Alexander II. Author. Otto von Gippius, an academician from St. Petersburg. The Alexander Church looks like a real castle with a front entrance. The interior of the Church is modest, but the historical appearance has been preserved, sculptures and church decorations were destroyed in 1944. The organ is located on the ground floor, the room is decorated with 8 round stained glass windows by the Estonian stained glass artist Dolores Hoffmann, placed under the dome. In this room, a very interesting video installation "Sky over Narva" is constantly shown under the dome. The tower has 6 floors, an elevator is installed and it is heated. The floors are connected by a spiral staircase. On the second floor there is an altar, an altar painting "The Nativity of Mary" and a harmonium. On the third, fourth and fifth floors there is an exposition of a very interesting and informative church museum. On the sixth floor there is an observation deck with stunning views of Narva, its sights and the Ivangorod fortress. The church fascinates with its beauty and uniqueness.
