Is a luxury hotel with a stunning location, but it doesn’t live up to the hype. The Bosphorus views are breathtaking, and the rooms are spacious with elegant decor, but the details fall short. Housekeeping misses spots—dusty corners and smudged mirrors were noticeable. The staff is polite but slow to respond; getting extra towels or a simple request took ages. IST TOO restaurant offers tasty Turkish and Asian dishes, but the prices are absurd for what you get, and the breakfast buffet, while diverse, often had cold items. The spa and hammam are relaxing, but appointments were overbooked, leading to rushed service. For a quick stay, it’s fine, but for the price and reputation, you expect flawless execution—go elsewhere for true luxury.

We celebrated my anniversary in this hotel (St. Petersburg) with our children and adult grandchildren (France).A great, luxurious, quiet hotel with attentive and helpful staff. I would like to mention Denise, a manager who speaks Russian. On my birthday, colorful balloons and a cake appeared in the room as a surprise! It was a pleasure. The room was constantly replenished with drinking water, sweets, coffee capsules and tea. Very high-quality cosmetics: gel, body milk, shampoo, Aqua di Parma. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean and comfortable, with a decent supply of nice little things / combs, toothbrushes and toothpaste, razors and shaving foam, and other small things. Room cleaning is discreet and high-quality. On the day of departure, there was time before the transfer - we were happy to spend it at the SPA without any additional charges. Fondest memories, we will recommend this hotel to our friends.

Upon checking in at the reception, I was greeted by a Russian-speaking girl, Polina, who was constantly in her place and later solved all issues for me instantly. It is important to have Russian-speaking staff in Istanbul. I arrived at the hotel early, at 9 a.m. and was kindly checked in immediately - it was great, after a night flight, very important and valuable. Breakfast, of course, is scheduled for me from the next day, but there is a coffee machine and fruit in the room, which is also a huge plus for those who are tired from the road, but do not have the strength to go somewhere in search of food, And a bottle of complimentary wine. The room is very bright, spacious, beautiful, perfect linens, in the basic categories of rooms there is one sink in the bathroom, but there is also a bathroom and a shower-it's great. A great gym, SPA and a warm pool-after 20,000 steps a day, it's great to relax there. Breakfast and view of the Bosphorus from the terrace-a song. The staff seems to be sincerely waiting for you every morning for breakfast, the guys are great, all with a smile, very pleasant. I drove to Istanbul for shopping, near the hotel there are exchangers, Migros, cafes with decent food, a taxi to the Cevahir 250lir shopping center. I was very happy with my vacation. A good hotel for exploring the city. View of the Bosphorus, quiet, calm audience, polite staff, everything is correct according to the receipts. There was a joint at breakfast when I ordered a glass of champagne (optionalpayment), and they brought free sparkling wine. I had to scold and force them to fix the situation. They brought a bottle, opened it in front of me and poured out what was needed. In general, sometimes you need to monitor staff and give feedback to managers. The quality of the food at breakfast and on order in the room is normal. The room is well stocked. The doors will open and close, they will help with the luggage, they will hold the umbrella.

But the bathroom is not comfortable, the water was leaking over the edges all the time. 😂 The staff is Russian-speaking everywhere - at the reception, at the spa, and in the restaurant. In general, apart from the noise from the ships and the bathtub, which had water pouring over the sides, everything was amazing!

We had a rest in early April with my sister in this wonderful hotel! It fully corresponds to its level. The rooms are spacious, all cosmetics are in the bathroom of L'Occitane. The bathrooms are very spacious, there is a separate shower and a bathroom. There is a built-in TV in the mirror) while you are relaxing in the bathroom, you can watch TV) The hotel has a great variety of breakfasts! After such breakfasts (and we had breakfast at 10:00), I wanted to have lunch around 17:00 :)) I would like to pay special attention to the hotel staff, especially Karina! A very nice, pleasant girl. Thank you for your help and warm welcome! Everyone is very polite and attentive. The location of the hotel is very good, in 3 minutes there is a pier from where ferries go to the other side of the city (15min). Dolmabahce Palace is located next to the hotel. We really liked it, we will definitely come back!)

If to Istanbul, then only to Shangri la! This hotel has become my favorite, starting from the entrance and ending with the highest level of room cleaning! Upon entering the hotel, an unusual perfume immediately envelops, a special one associated with Shangri la. Amazing breakfasts on the summer terrace overlooking the Bosphorus! fresh juices, fruits, pastries, red fish, a variety of cheeses and meat products. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and had fun! On Valentine's Day, the hotel gave us a plate of heart-shaped chocolates as a compliment and arranged a romantic a la carte dinner, and it was very authentic and at the same time, gorgeous! We already wrote about cosmetics and bathroom accessories in the reviews above, I was surprised by the bath salt included))) It is very convenient to get to historical sites by ferry - a 3-minute walk from the hotel to the pier. From the windows of our room there was a view of my beloved Dolma Bakhche! Everything in this hotel is great and we will definitely come back to you in June!))))
