It's a very cool museum. I really liked it, and if we had been without a child and not in a hurry, we would have spent more time there. It is interesting about how such forts were built, the history of construction. And the additional exposure of photos from the time of oil production in the desert, when there was still no technology, is generally interesting. The old fort is interesting, the architecture is clear. I advise you to visit if you have time in Al Ain

It's a strange place, but we liked it. It's just a fort and an interactive museum in it, or a place where they show and tell about the excavations and restoration of this particular fort. Various openair events and filming often take place inside - you can see the unusual. There is a large, beautiful and well-maintained park with palm trees nearby. Parking is free, they feed dates inside (it's Alain :))) and there is cold water.

This part of the story will be interesting to those who want to understand the history of the birth of the ruling family in the emirates, and in general to understand the living conditions of two centuries ago!
