Carus is probably one of the most pleasant hotels in Goreme, and in Cappadocia, a hotel means a lot, there's not much else to do;) So, in Carus there is: -Delicious food (not only overcooked fatty meat), -Polite staff, -Spacious and beautiful hotel, -The interiors are thought out to the smallest detail (you immerse yourself in an old but very well-maintained stone town) -Excellent views (it stands on a mountain almost at the very top) -Beautiful, well-maintained spa area -swimming pool, sauna (The only thing I used was a massage service at the hotel - 2,500 Turkish lira is 5,000 rubles in 2025, I didn't like the massage at all, the masseuses looked like two Filipinas who did a Finnish massage 😂😌 accordingly, they kneaded, stroked, and that's it. In Moscow, massage is made more palpable - ease of movement, relief of muscle tension) I Recommend the hotel!) * there are almost no Russians, everything is as we like it

The hotel is very pleasant, one of the best in Goreme, that's for sure. It doesn't make any sense to take rooms with a view and overpay for the view. The hotel is located almost at the very bottom, so you can't see much from the windows. Until 3 a.m., music is blaring in the establishments in the district, and at 5-30 the call to prayer sounds very loudly from the nearest church. Deep sleep remains for 2-3 hours. Therefore, I recommend taking rooms without a view and deeper. Upstairs there is a hotel and restaurant terrace with wonderful views!
