Good afternoon! The service is excellent! The staff of Alkhaz, Saida, Alla are very friendly! The rest was a success. The food is noble. The rooms are always clean, as well as the house area. The atmosphere is comfortable! We ordered daily excursions, the price is affordable. Sea, beach, dolphins, DELIGHT! Rio Mio cafe is nearby, the cuisine is excellent. There is also a shop nearby, the seller Juliet, is perfect, cooked us grilled chicken, we had a great rest by the sea. We arrived at the beginning of June, the water on the sea is no longer cold, although the Abkhazians themselves were surprised, they were cold. It was already dark at 8 p.m., the receptionist turned on the music, the bar was open, we played checkers (Chapaev, corners, etc.), chess, I just read books, they have everything, a gym and a sauna. Highly recommend it!

An incredible hotel with excellent service! The most delicious breakfasts, necessary accessories (shower gel, shampoos, soap, kettle, water, mugs, glasses, extra blanket), the cleanest towels and bed linen. The interior is decorated with impeccable taste, feeling like you are in a modern hotel in Turkey or Europe. The pool is clean with good filtration. A barbecue area with a gazebo for pleasant evenings with barbecue or fish. A well-equipped gym, where it is pleasant to come in the morning to study, and then run to cool off in the sea. The sauna is spacious for an additional fee, delicious coffee, hookah and a projector for evening movie sessions. The sea is clean, the beach is pebbly, it didn't bother me and a 9-year-old child, but if you have very sensitive feet, then 1.5 km from our beach there is a sandy beach "Mocha" with sun loungers and bars. You can get there by minibus, we walked along the railway (about half an hour walk) There are small shops near the hotel, if you need to buy a lot, then there is a good supermarket and pharmacy in the direction of Machara (back to Sukhumi), as well as a luxury bakery. Walking is also about half an hour. As for food: you can order lunches and dinners at the hotel, the prices are very affordable, but we decided to explore local establishments. So, the best thing is the Apshara restaurant, also towards Machara, 15 minutes on foot and you will find a large restaurant with a covered area and a picturesque gazebo, which stands on the banks of a river that flows into the sea. Everything is very tasty and cheap enough. Next to the hotel, they appreciated the "Caucasian Captive" and the home-made cafe "Skazka", which is run by two Permian women. In captivity, the prices are slightly above average, but quite decent and edible, some delicious, some not. You can come to the fairy tale to eat homemade food: cutlets , soups , salads . None of the establishments caused stomach upset ) You can get to the city of Sukhum by minibus for 50 rubles and walk there on your own, the embankment there is beautiful, but I am a lover of relaxing holidays, so I was glad to be away from Sukhum. The owners of the hotel are the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met, and my heart is filled with such love and tenderness for the Black Elephant team that I am already thinking about how to return here. Thank you for such a spiritual rest, my beloved "Black Elephant", prosper and wait for us again

Our week-long family vacation at this hotel left the most pleasant memories! The four-bed house, located next to the main building and the swimming pool, turned out to be perfectly clean, cozy and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay (gels, shampoos, slippers, refrigerator, mugs, glasses and tea set. A swimming pool with warm and clear water, comfortable deck chairs, proximity to the sea, shops and excellent cafes – all this created a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. Special thanks for the delicious and varied breakfasts, with excellent serving of dishes that energized for the whole day! We even had breakfast prepared an hour earlier on the day of departure, so as not to let us go hungry and saw us off like family. Therefore, the most important difference of this hotel is the incredible hospitality of the hosts, which made us feel at home. We left with the feeling that we were leaving our loved ones, and with a great desire to return in a bigger company! The staff helped us with any issue, organized unforgettable excursions, delicious lunches and dinners upon reservation at budget prices, varied and satisfying. This cozy place of European level has conquered us with its comfort and hospitality! We wish you prosperity and well-being, and the hosts good health, joy from work and communication with guests who cannot remain indifferent from meeting Alice and her family and sweet Kama. RS: very convenient location of the hotel from Sukhum airport, just 7 minutes away by car. It's more convenient to get there this way than to go to Adler and go through border control.

We have only positive emotions from these three days at the hotel. We lived in a four-bed house next to a large house. Everything was clean, thoughtful and cozy inside - shampoo, gel, hair dryer, table with mirror, kettle with glasses, refrigerator. The water in the pool was warm and clean. Then you could lie on the deck chairs. It was literally 7-10 minutes to the sea. Nearby there are small shops where you can buy some small things, and several delicious cafes where you can have dinner. We were very pleased with the breakfasts - delicious and varied, we ate so much that sometimes we skipped lunch. Lunch or dinner could also be ordered. For dinner, we tried the Abkhazian hodgepodge, it was unusual, but very tasty. Most of all, I was pleased and delighted by the hospitality of the hosts. We flew away from our beloved relatives, to whom we would like to return. Thank them so much for such a great vacation!

Sooo delicious homemade breakfasts made from the freshest ingredients. The sea is 5 minutes away at a leisurely pace. The only difficulty in walking to it is the road with constantly scurrying cars. A wild beach, without garbage and crowds of people, which certainly pleases and relaxes. In general, there is absolutely everything for a good rest and a complete reboot.

We had a vacation with children aged 4 and 6, 2025. The cabins are really lovely and the pool. At the same time, we were told that since the cabins were not fully occupied (although half of the cabins were inhabited), it was not profitable for them to keep cooks and no one cooked for us. Considering that it rained for two days during our vacation, the children and I had to walk along the roadway in the rain to eat. My request to use the kitchen was refused, and they refused to take out a small tile to cook pasta for the children. I had to ask the neighbors to cook something. The closest access to the sea is a rocky beach with huge stones. Bottom line: to eat, you first need to find a place, not a short way, to get to the sandy beach - call a taxi.

We stayed at the Black Elephant Hotel from 17.09, planned to stay until 29.09, but left earlier. I'll tell you about the advantages first: the houses are good, modern, the pool is available, and the breakfasts are good. Now the cons:Keep in mind if you eat out of season! there was no cook, and you will not be able to order according to the menu as stated (this probably applies to guests with children). There is no kitchen! There is no refrigerator! There is a small mini fridge in the room, it practically does not freeze, and you will not be able to heat the food, because there is no kitchen! An unheated pool (if you're unlucky with the weather, it's also not an option to swim there. Although for an amateur! I didn't like the room cleaning. Upon arrival:the linen was clean (but stained) in the bedroom, the bathroom mirror was covered in toothpaste, the lamps in the bedroom and the room were dusty. Don't expect cleaning like Turkey (made-up beds, etc.). There are two clothes dryers in the barbecue area and they are barely alive, but keep in mind if there is bad weather, things will not dry outside, and there is nowhere to dry in the house. We turned on the air conditioner with the sun at +29 and dragged the dryer into the house after filling the air conditioner. There is no embankment there, there is nowhere to walk, you will have to walk along the road to the sea and cafes (there are no footpaths). We went to a paid beach in mocha. The beach in front of the hotel is not bad, but we didn't get in) There is a cafe nearby, but the food is specific) It would be great if there was a kitchen. Having a cook was important to us, so we left earlier.

Good afternoon. Our vacation from June 18 to 27, 2024 at this hotel was great. We didn't regret for a second that he was chosen. A wonderful team, friendly. They will always help with any question. They suggested where you can order sushi, even found a hacksaw for us to cut bamboo, they will tell you everything. You can even choose excursions and see the city. Everything is clean and well maintained on the territory and in the houses. There is a kettle, tea, mini fridge. We also asked for some dishes, they did not refuse us. There are books and board games for entertainment. It didn't work out with the rest in the Elephant ... starting from the malfunctions of household appliances (refrigerator, or rather, mini-bar, safe) and furniture (bathroom handle), ending with the disgusting and unacceptable attitude of the staff, namely the administrator Elina. If she doesn't like you, then Rudeness, disassembly and shouting at you are guaranteed! For breakfast (which are included) - for 3 days. Tasteless sugary-sweet porridges, paper sausages, local cheese, etc. the children refused to eat, they had to be fed outside the hotel. A huge disadvantage is that the hotel stands right along the only and very busy highway in Abkhazia: it is impossible to stay in a room with the door open - trucks and all other vehicles roar by. It's also a pleasure to lie on a sun lounger by the pool in the heat and stuffiness (during the hot daytime hours when everyone leaves the sea for lunch and rest) and inhale exhaust fumes and dust from the highway (and not the sea breeze). The disappointment of this fact overtook me on the very first day. The road to the sea is a hell of an attraction! First, you need to somehow manage to cross (or rather run over) a fairly busy highway, because there is no pedestrian crossing next to the hotel (you need to go the other way to it, and in the heat you don't want to do that at all)! Then there is a narrow alley along the building hotel- construction debris and dusty large rubble (I broke almost all my toenails during these 6 days of "rest", then another narrow road, a single-track .... and voila, the beach itself: wild, not very clean sandy and pebbly, quite spacious. Thank God, we got our money back for the remaining days and we moved to a wonderful hotel with a location right on the beach, delicious food and polite and good-natured hosts and staff (it turns out there are such in Abkhazia!).
