Delicious national cuisine, reasonable prices. Locals come here, which means it's delicious and not just for tourists. We had lunch here for two days: we tried dyushbar, different types of kebabs, tomato salad and crispy eggplant salad (large portion in the photo), kutabs, very tasty grilled sturgeon.

Good afternoon! We are vacationing in Baku as a family, three adults, since April 27, visited many places, on the advice of an employee of the confectionery of the Old City, we visited this restaurant - Old Garden, next to the Maiden Tower. At the time of writing the review, May 02 is our third visit to the restaurant. There was lunch, breakfast, and now lunch again. For the first time, we ordered pilaf with fruits, lamb quads (pistols), gyurza (small mantas) and pomegranate wine. Shine! Breakfast - shakshuka (omelet with tomatoes), tandoor flatbread (just a bomb!), homemade cheese and butter, Azerbaijani tea... very tasty! Honestly! Lunch - beef liver kebab, Khan kebab (shish kebab in Russian), dyushbara (soup with dumplings), dolma with grape leaves and dolma vegetable (three sisters)... and again the pomegranate wine! I cook on the grill, and they say it's delicious, but there's a lot of competition... very, very tasty!!! Juicy ... one more minute and it will be overdried! I recommend it!!! Dyushbara - homemade! Dolma is a feature in dogwood sauce) I would like to mention the administrator, Farhad, who is very friendly and helpful. The first time we were served by the waiter Pasha, for breakfast - Parvin. For lunch - Pasha and Parvin. The waiters are very pleasant and professional. On the third visit, Farhad treated us to tea. Very nice!) Food - 10 (my son decided to return from the other end of the old town). P Service - 10. Interior - 10 (very colorful, Azerbaijani music). The price is average in the city, but very tasty! We are in Baku until May 05 and we are planning to return here!) P.S. I wrote the review during the third meal!)

Great restaurant! Atmospheric, located in a lowland, surrounded by greenery, trees. Any kind of food is on top. We were here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pomegranate wine is very tasty here, I recommend you to try it. The service is excellent, special thanks to the waiter Pasha. Live music in the evenings. Come to the Old Garden restaurant, you will not remain indifferent.

A wonderful restaurant in the old town! The name fully justifies - this is really a garden in which tables are organically placed (including the one at which you need to sit in an oriental way, that is, without shoes). The kitchen does not cause any complaints, and the service (at least our waiter- Nijad) creates a desire to come again. P.S. Try sturgeon with pomegranate!

I intended to deliver a well-deserved 5th. But...Before publishing my opinion, I have a habit of reading what other visitors think about this place... And quite an adequate assessment of the institution, both in terms of food quality, serving, authenticity, adequate prices and location...I was surprised that each review mentions the name of a particular waiter. The model scheme, in my opinion, is as follows: when the waiter realizes that the food and the overall impression of the place is positive, a business card is presented with a request to leave a review and mention the name ... Ugh....how unpleasant it is to realize that adult men, Caucasians, are forced to ask for it. Our waiter-(I will not intentionally mention his name, so as not to harm him) -was really very attentive and helpful and also repeated this scheme at the end of the service. I liked everything very much, except for personnel management. I recommend a visit. It's delicious, some items are cheaper, some are more expensive for different positions and positions. Worthy. The management! Please think about other ways and criteria for evaluating the work of waiters.

The staff is very intrusive. They didn't warn me that the vegetable shish kebab was spicy, my husband felt very sick from the hot pepper, he was badly burned. And this vegetable kebab was overcooked and very spicy, resulting in 4 manats in the trash. The portions are small, not like in the photo on the menu, and the price tag is high. On the plus side, the barbecue is very tasty.

This place is amazing. Color. Food. Service. The portions are huge!!!!! Salad with tomatoes can be taken for two! Meat dishes can also be safely taken for two🫣 Be sure to try their pomegranate wine!
