One of the best in downtown Almaty. Not cheap, but not crazy expensive. And yes, you expect this in the most remote from the seas country. The choice is not that extensive, but superbly prepared and served with heart and dignity. Well done guys! P.s. Better to reserve the seats. The place is rapidly getting popular

Interesting place, food was okeish (3 out of 5 on taste), limited choice of what you usually see, so therefore a bit stressed to order and explore new), waiter is waiting to be called. The bill came as not higher vs. expected (the place is not expensive). Good choice of beers.

Delicious cuisine, we liked it, a large selection of fish and seafood. Interesting salad with crab. The bread basket is worth taking just because of the garlic sauce. However, it is very noisy and the waiters need to be served, they run running, but everything is not for us. We need to catch them.

Secondly... The menu includes Gillardeau oysters.... Perhaps the restaurant does not know that since 2014, this French oyster house has been making laser engraving on each of its oysters in the form of the letter G... And so. There is no G on the oysters at La barca. And here there are two options: the restaurant is slightly deceiving (either the supplier is deceiving, but the restaurant does not delve into the issue) Well ... or the oysters are older than 2014 😄😄😄 Everything is fine here, but you need to immerse yourself in the topic a little. ;)
