Prices on the shelves and prices at the checkout often vary! For some reason, saleswomen always have some kind of piece of paper from which they take prices and are always more expensive. When you tell them that there is a different price on the shelf, they start to be rude and give arguments like "they didn't have time to change", "the supplier didn't change", etc. etc. And many stores have exactly the same arguments! Apparently a well-thought-out scheme!
