The hotel is unusual. It's not easy to find him. I chose him by the stars. He was listed as five stars in the program. I thought there would be a gorgeous entrance with a bunch of staff and a reception. We arrived from the airport by taxi to the square. We started walking from building to building with a suitcase to look for a sign. There is no😒 anywhere. I looked closely / read the description: there is a shop and a cafe nearby. Found. We asked the saleswoman. She pointed to the front door of the apartment building next to the store. We saw the name of the hotel on the intercom. Hooray. They called and let me in. The third floor. The door to the apartment. They open it and after making sure that we have booked it, they escort us down the corridor to the third room of this apartment. In general, they converted the apartment into a hotel. Each room is huge (about 40 squares). In the one that we got, a large double bed, a wooden headrest with antique patterns; a corner of the kitchen; a small but comfortable bathroom; a carved antique wardrobe; a mirror with a small table; a table by the window for lunch and... a record player with a bunch of records. Unusual and positive. Despite the initial shock and frustration that this is not a hotel in the standard sense, the player completely smoothed out our negativity and we completely forgot about all the bad things. Later on, we felt the charm of this place. Peace and quiet. No loud neighbors, no stomping down the corridor, no banging of doors at the exit. Perfect. Oh, yes... there was also a curved openwork bathtub next to the bed. I don't know why. Apparently a tribute to French habits. Windows on the square. You have breakfast and look down at the fussy passers-by.
