We had a rest in Abbot Gagra from September to October 3, 2025. The travel agent helped us with the choice of the hotel and we did not lose. The hotel is not cheap, but it is one of the five most comfortable and comfortable hotels not only in Gagra, but I think in the whole of Abkhazia. We stayed in a superior room in building number two. The room has a sea view. The numbers are distributed randomly and we were just lucky. The room has everything you need: towels, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo and body gel in the bathroom, a kettle, cups, and tea and sugar are served every day. Cleaning is daily. Everything is clean and tidy. There are coolers with hot and cold water on the floor. The hotel grounds are very clean. The pool is perfect. The beach is clean, the beach bar is very tasty))). The hotel itself has two types of meals: breakfast and dinner buffet: breakfast 700 rubles per person, dinner 1400 rubles per person. Delicious! But! Simple European food. We didn't go. There is a beautiful tea house on site. The food is delicious there and there are many Abkhaz dishes on the menu. There is also the Abbot's restaurant. But we didn't visit. One cloudy day we went to the spa: 1000 rubles per person for 3 hours. Sauna, hammam, two swimming pools, relaxation area, tea... perfectly! There is an embankment next to the hotel, you can walk until you drop. The impressions of the hotel are simply amazing! If we go back, it's only here. Because there is no decent choice! We watched everything live side by side and realized that we were in paradise! PS: when the lights and water are turned off everywhere, the Abbot has everything, as its own generators start working.

We had a rest from 30.08- 06.09, I would like to thank all the hotel staff, it is immediately clear that the management does not care about their guests at all!!! We lived in the 4th building (Oldenburgsky),3rd floor, the balcony faced the road, the cafe across the street is very noisy at night, but as a rule it gets quiet at 12 at night)we tightly closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner, when there was silence, we opened the windows. There was one extra place, a cot, which was very hard, but one of us liked sleeping on a hard one. The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily, cups, tea and a kettle will be brought upon request. The kitchen is clean, everything is delicious, homemade and varied food is served at the hotel.We went to a tea house for lunch, everything is delicious there too. There are drinks and snacks at the bar for an extra charge, the guys are calm and work there with humor) The atmosphere is calm, the territory is well maintained, the people are peaceful and happy!! we really liked it, I will recommend Abaata Gagra to everyone.

This is a historical place. It was from here that the Gagra resort began to be created at the beginning of the last century. The hotel is located in the renovated buildings of the fortress of the same name in Staraya Gagra. This is the fourth time we have come to Abaatu for a two-week stay, because this hotel is the best in terms of price/quality. The hotel has its own beach, although of course, you can walk along the coastline to it. Every year, Abaata is changing for the better. There are more umbrellas and sun beds on the beach this year. This year, the buffet breakfast has been moved from the restaurant of the same name to a separate room, and it is very convenient. The issue of coffee at breakfast has also been resolved. Now the breakfast buffet includes an unlimited number of cups of coffee, whereas in previous years there was only one. Many thanks to Julia's fitness trainer, who turned his wife into an aerialist. As always, we admire Natalia's massage therapist. Excellent transfer service at the hotel. I would also like to thank all the staff of the hotel for a well-organized vacation, which pleases us from year to year.
