We spent 8 unforgettable days in this cozy corner - and each of them was filled with warmth, beauty and hospitality! The sea caressing the shore, majestic mountains surrounded by greenery, and the atmosphere of real Abkhazian hospitality – all this was presented to us by the guest house "Aphrodite". For the second year in a row, we come here to relax with the whole family. A review of last year's trip can be read on the website "going to visit". What can I say about this year? Only positive impressions. The courtyard has become even more beautiful, the food is even tastier, the rooms are cozy as before, the administration is still caring, the service is on top. If you go to the sea, then only here. The sea is Abkhazia, Abkhazia is the New Athos, and the New Athos is Aphrodite. I bow low to all the friendly and hardworking staff of the guest house! Would you like to go to Abkhazia? You are definitely here!!! A great place to relax!!! - here YOU are AND THE SEA!!! Who writes about food , which is not so cruel in vain - you can always feast very tasty !!! There are many cafes here and nearby! In the evenings, we are even entertained with dancing and local rituals at dinner! And everyone who is resting nearby prefers to have dinner here! But the guests, like us, come constantly from year to year and already entertain themselves and play games until morning, dancing, telescope, charades - contests! And all thanks to the owners of the house!!! Thank you for the purity, understanding of our wishes and a warm welcome!!! The price and quality meet expectations! Remember, this is a different country, a different mentality, a different vacation! I recommend it to everyone who has the SEA as a priority!

We had a rest in September 2024. The room has not been cleaned once in 12 days. The plumbing is so dirty that it has probably never been cleaned. The beach is not equipped. In the evenings, in the cafe, which is located a meter from the building, music is turned on through amplifiers and such a test with decebells every evening. There is nowhere to walk. Just behind the hotel there is a railway and a highway. It takes about 20 minutes to get to New Athos by taxi or by passing minibus.

We rested here in July 2023. We liked everything and were satisfied. The sea is within walking distance, the beach is small Pebbles, the water is very clean. The guest house is clean, the territory is well maintained with lots of beautiful plants! There is a cafe on site where they feed well, we tried almost all the menus. The rooms have a refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle. The only thing is, the kitchen is shared and the dishes are not very convenient. In general, I recommend this place to relax. I think we'll come here again 😍

We stayed at the Aphrodite Guest House from July 14 to July 24, 2025. We would like to leave a review about the Restaurant of the guest house "Aphrodite" — this is a real find for gourmets and connoisseurs of home cooking! The restaurant's cuisine impresses with a variety of dishes and excellent cooking quality. I would especially like to note: * Khachapuri and flatbreads with cheese — they just melt in your mouth * Chef's kebabs are juicy and flavorful * Homemade pizza Top-level service: friendly staff is always ready to help with the selection of dishes and quickly serves the guests. The atmosphere of the establishment is conducive to a comfortable stay. The windows offer a beautiful view of the sea, which creates a special romantic atmosphere. Additional benefits: * Possibility to order dishes on the grill * The waiting time for the order does not exceed 20-30 minutes * Availability of soft drinks * Cozy dining area The prices are quite reasonable, and the portions are quite large. I recommend the Aphrodite restaurant to all the guests of the guest house — you will definitely not regret your choice and enjoy delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere!

We had a rest at the Aphrodite guest house with the whole family — there were 9 of us, including children — and we were absolutely delighted! 🌿 First of all, I would like to mention the hospitality — we were greeted very warmly, everything was ready for our arrival, there was attention to detail and care for each guest. The rooms are clean, spacious, cozy, with everything you need. The territory is well maintained and beautiful — it's nice to spend time outdoors. Excellent cuisine — the food is delicious, varied, everything is always fresh. I especially liked that the approach was found for both adults and children. The location is also excellent: close to the sea and shops, but at the same time quiet, without too much noise. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail to make your stay comfortable. Many thanks to the hosts for their kindness and high level of service. We will definitely come again and recommend it to our friends!

4* purely for the menu, honestly it didn't go, Russian dishes don't know how to cook, but Abkhazian ones are a credit! Khachapuri with cheese, khachapuri in Ajarian, trout, khinkali - test! The wine is not bad, though I only tried it, but I did not dare to drink from a 1.5l plastic bottle!But the most gorgeous thing in this place is the sea!!50m, 12 steps and you're on the beach, there aren't many people, the beach is private, clean, you can jump from breakwaters.There are no endless "banana people" on their motorbikes, which are about to pass over your head!!!The rooms are clean, air conditioning, cabinets, refrigerator, linen, towel, soap and toilet paper - everything is there (although we were in the suite, that's what they call it)!in other rooms, I don't know how. There is a kitchen for cooking, you can cook on your own! The owners are good-natured, respond to any request and help. There are several cafes nearby, minibuses run frequently. We went on our own several times to N.Athos and N.Gagra, we got there without any problems. If you like a quiet and relaxing holiday with evening gatherings on the terrace with a glass of wine and a view of the sea - here you are!!!

I only appreciate the meal. One star is, like, a strong handicap. If you want to taste the tasteless "boat" in Abkhazia, come here. Thick, tasteless dough with cottage cheese. We couldn't eat, so we gave it to the dog. They asked us to make steamed cutlets, they brought us coals in oil. Well, the rice soup on the menu is solemnly called "kharcho soup". Don't they know how to cook kharcho soup in Abkhazia? You can't do that. There is an unprecedented influx of guests in Abkhazia this season. It would seem that create conditions for people to return to you. But no. Good service is not a hobby in Abkhazia. It sucks at the Aphrodite Cafe.
