A cool, calm hotel, clean, cozy, very friendly staff, a good variety of breakfasts, you can find everything for every taste, eggs in all possible variations, olives, cheeses, ham, vegetables, all possible pastries, etc., the cleanest linen and carpentry, which is very important, room cleaning every day.

Nice hotel in the Fatih area. Friendly staff, convenient location.
Of the minuses, for which I took off the star, it's no wifi, it just doesn't exist (although they promise you a good one in the description), breakfasts are few fruits and no porridges, a lot of national dishes.
But the most important thing that surprised us the most was that artificial flowers of not the first freshness, with which everything is decorated, even on the tables in the restaurant there are "scented" bouquets, it looks very unsightly. This is not a 5-star hotel level, definitely! I would recommend that the manager urgently hire a florist), well, or at least update this "flower garden"
On the plus side, the maids work well, I also really liked the spa area, the massage therapists are great!
There is no Russian staff on the subject of language, they speak only English and Turkish.
Location - near the metro. The nearest shopping center is a 15-minute walk away.
All in all, well, 2 days of stay was enough)
Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel does not pull in 5 stars (((( yes, there are a lot of halls for events and they are good enough, but not very good to live in. All plumbing is old, you can only get into the bathtub in rubber slippers. The wiring is old, the socket and the TV were knocked out in the room. The lighting in the rooms is terrible, just dim. It's better to keep silent about the pillow and blanket!!!!! Dirty and the pillow is like a brick, I've been twisting my neck for a week from this. The location is normal, near the metro station, it's convenient!

Perhaps this is a "Turkish" 5*... already quite an old hotel with a (terribly) noisy air conditioning system. The room was on a corner and faced an 8-lane highway. due to problems with double-glazed windows - from which the wind blew and made noise (despite the "closed" condition) all the time there was a feeling that you were on the road yourself. The Turks "scored" on ALL the numerous and daily requests to look at and adjust the windows. The room is dark, because there is little lighting, and something burned out. Because of the cold, I had to keep the air conditioner on all the time, which was buzzing all the time.
Breakfast is a normal buffet, without any special frills. some of the dishes were served once per week of stay.
Dinners are delicious, but everything is done on the "get off": there is the same rice all week (?) ... from the evening drink, a bottle of cold water on the table (no matter two or four), everything else is for an additional fee.the fee.
Perhaps one of the advantages is the location of the hotel itself: near the metro, buses, trams in 5 minutes.

Well, it doesn't pull at 5 stars at all, a solid 4! A large assortment for breakfast! There is a swimming pool! It was very useful in the summer. There is a metro station nearby (literally 30 meters).

A very large hotel, the staff can not cope with all requests. Breakfasts for 5 stars are very modest and monotonous. The Internet doesn't take you everywhere.
Water is not always brought to the room, pillows and linen leave much to be desired .....
Dinners are given out, it takes a long time to wait and not always hot dishes ....
In general, 5 stars does not pull at all, a bad three

The hotel itself is good. The rooms are clean, the staff is polite. They only took breakfast. For the first time, we faced the fact that you cannot bring food and alcohol to the hotel, you can only order through THEIR restaurant.

The hotel is for 3. Only good breakfasts. The shower is leaking, the watering can is faulty, the towels are in some kind of stains, and the main disadvantage is a very noisy air conditioning system. It prevents you from sleeping.
The irons are black. When requesting to bring something, you need to call several times

I have stayed in this hotel more than once. Large rooms, comfortable mattresses and pillows, normal plumbing. Decent breakfasts. If you decide to have dinner in the room, the food is very tasty. I always book the upper floors with a view of the sea and the mosque. The friendly staff will always help you solve any questions you may have.

We had a rest in April 2023 at this hotel. In general, it was fine.
Positive: beautiful design, friendly staff, know English, don't know Russian, a normal room (junior suite), the metro is close, there are many services (for example, laundry), a rooftop bar with a hookah (the roof was still closed).
Cons: we didn't really like the breakfasts, they were the same every day and not very tasty. There is a lot of cheese, pastries, dried fruits, this is a plus. There was no meat, fish, porridge, cottage cheese, side dishes. Tomatoes are rotten. Instant coffee.
Room: in need of cosmetic repairs (the curtain in the bathroom did not close, the towels are gray, the bed linen needs to be replaced);
Prices: washing a small package of linen 4 tons. Hookah about 1600 rubles, beer 0.3-500 rubles. - everything is expensive (but the hookah is good). Transfer to the airport is 60 euros.
High audibility: in the morning at 8:00 a.m., deranged children run and scream in the hallway and are not allowed to sleep. These are, of course, questions for parents who do not know how to raise their children.
There is a mosque nearby, they sing at night (but it didn't bother much) - the children are much worse.
There is a sign at the entrance: it is forbidden to bring food and drinks. They didn't try to bring food, only chocolates or chips. Bottles of champagne and beer were brought in. They didn't say anything.
In general, the hotel requires repair and replacement of textiles. Well, we need to do something about breakfast. There is a currency exchange at a not very favorable rate.
This is the first time in Istanbul - there is nothing to compare it with.
But most likely, we are unlikely to stop here again.

Slightly worn out 5 stars) One of the advantages and disadvantages at the same time is the location next to busy roads. The staff also does not have a very good knowledge of English. And in general, a friendly, cozy atmosphere.

Minuses:
• We arrived at 23 a.m., we were not checked into the hotel, because of the allegedly non-working electricity on some floor, and allegedly at 10 a.m. tomorrow they will check in. Their electricians work well all night, but in fact I think they just sold our room to others for that night. As a result, at 23 a.m. we were sent to another part of the city to the Marriott hotel. By paying for a taxi. We spent a lot of time, were tired and wanted to rest. In the morning at this hotel, no one called us a taxi as promised, they told us to go with our things on the road and call.
• The air conditioner does not cool at all, dirty inside with a gray dust filter. All the clothes and bed linen were wet. Friends in the next room have the same thing, the September coolness saved them, it is impossible to sleep without open windows, but in the heat of summer it will not save.
• Wi-Fi doesn't work, it just crashes every couple of minutes, or it doesn't connect. We lived on the 8th floor.
• Terrible high pillows stuffed with something very dense, my neck ached.
• The water pressure is not regular. Everything is fine for 5 minutes, then the hot water weakens and practically stops flowing, after 2-3 minutes it is restored to its former pressure.
• Also, there is a problem with draining the water. apparently there's a blockage in the bathroom.
• The problem was with the cleaners, who took away new freshly opened soap every day, so we had to hide it.
• The room cleaners threw out our shopping bags, which were neatly folded on the chair. We didn't put them next to the trash can, but after cleaning they disappeared. Although I wanted to check the receipts in these packages and take out the Tax-free receipts for a tax refund, however, they threw them out without our knowledge.
• We stayed at the hotel at the end of September, the children's school year, the windows overlooked the college and every morning we listened to children's songs, calls, screams of children during physical education, because there are several sports fields opposite the windows. Considering that the air conditioner does not work, it is not really possible to stay in the room with the windows open.
• At exactly 5:40 a.m., you will wake up to a loud prayer from a strong speaker. When it happened the first time, my husband decided that someone on a lift drove up to our window and started shouting into the microphone.
Pros:
• The breakfasts are average, we have been to three hotels and here it is even a little more varied, but do not expect something fantastic.
• A clean beautiful pool with excellent sun beds, it's a pity that so few people managed to swim in it
• Sound insulation is generally sufficient, but depends on the neighbors. I heard conversations in the next room at 2 a.m., but it was in complete silence. There were no problems during the day.
• Cleaning is generally good, new towels, water bottles - every day. However, keep everything that is dear to you away from the cleaner's eyes, otherwise it will disappear into her trash.
Comments:
• About the elevator - in the morning, during breakfast, hotel guests for some reason press both elevator call buttons, up and down. Although they're going down to the restaurant. As a result, we go to the restaurant from the 8th floor and stop on each floor, we also go upstairs. I don't understand these tourists because there are 3 elevators in the hotel, but they still create a collapse every morning.
• Transport - near the metro station, you can go to the center to Istiklal and Galata Tower. A 15-minute walk up/down the hilly terrain is a tram, also going to the center, but through Sultanahmet. We preferred the subway.
• There are various ATMs in the subway underpass nearby + on the opposite side of the Halkbank Hotel.
• Istanbul card is sold in the subway in front of the entrance or at the bus stop (yellow terminals).
• About weddings, birthdays at the hotel every day - no one bothers at all, you can't hear anything, only if you go down to the reception, you will see smartly dressed people, I admired the beautiful outfits the ladies come in.
