there is no noise isolation at all. it feels like no doors both between the internal walls and external windows. you'll hear every word your neighbours will be saying to each other and all the car traffic outside. quite small choice for breakfast. we couldn't get additional soap in the room regardless our request at the reception and regardless the fact the cleaning lady could have noticed that the one small piece of soap provided is almost gone. personnel at the restaurant was very nice and welcoming, remembered our preference for coffee in the morning and that was very heart-warming. always smiling and welcoming us as guests - thank you! Reception guys were not so welcoming but doing their work OK, no issues here. guest relations lady was nice too.

Wonderful hotel! Quiet, cozy, homey. Breakfasts are varied and very tasty. My husband and I stayed from January 8 to 15 in room 212. The room is compact, but very bright, quiet and warm. The staff is very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Very convenient location - Taksim Square - all types of transport nearby, a pedestrian street a minute's walk away. We were very pleased with the hotel and Istanbul, despite the winter weather. Thank you, Akka Lush!

I was on vacation with my family from January 3 to January 8, 2025. A 4 * hotel does not pull at all. One of the advantages is the location, near Istiklal street, an excellent promenade and shopping, many cafes with good food. There are no Russian-speaking staff at the reception. They settled on the second floor, the view from the windows is from the windows of a nearby ambulance building. The supposedly luxurious room is very small, there is no normal closet, there are no doors, things are hanging on hangers mixed with outerwear. There are no chairs, there is a small pouf in front of the table with a TV. There is no heating in the classical sense. The room is heated by a central split system, sometimes hot, sometimes cold. The bathroom is very small, it is not heated, so it is uncomfortable and cold to get out of the shower. There are only two hooks in the bathroom, which cannot accommodate three bathrobes and all towels. Toiletries were provided for two people, although there were three of us adults, the same applies to water, tea bags and coffee. I had to point this out. The lights were flashing alternately. There is a lot of audibility, from 8 a.m. there is talk and noise from the cleaners. January 7 is Christmas :)))They were poisoning cockroaches in the hotel, and we asked them not to do any sanitation. The breakfasts are very meager, there are no meat dishes at all, even the coffee is weak and tasteless. The assortment includes 3 types of cheese, omelet, olives, one type of porridge, and small croissants and jam puffs. A little slicing of vegetables and fruits. Just a little bit at a time, and not so tasty and varied. The view from the terrace - the old roofs of the houses and only from one angle - is not bad. I am attaching a photo. They tried to officially call a taxi by phone through the reception staff. To our surprise, the employee ran out into the street, waved his hand (as we could have done ourselves), stopped a taxi, and then we ourselves explained where to go. :))). In short, the hotel is not very comfortable, uncomfortable, and inhospitable. I think that for this money you can find more worthy offers.

Great hotel! Very convenient location, polite and partially Russian-speaking staff, delicious breakfasts with stunning views!
There is also an internal panoramic elevator, which adds extra sophistication to the hotel.
The hotel itself, of course, is not new, but the rooms are very nice and stylish. There are different types of rooms, I lived with a view of Taksim - and I advise everyone to choose this one! This view is worth it! Because the hotel has rooms with a wall view, keep this in mind when booking.
In general, I think that this hotel has an excellent price/quality ratio!

The hotel is ideally located! Istiklal street with a tram and Taksim square are 2 minutes away, from here you can go to all parts of the city, to all the sights. Near the metro, funicular, lots of cafes, shops with souvenirs.
The hotel itself is sooo good. The rooms are small, nice, and have everything you need. Free sauna, hammam. Breakfast is included - a good selection of vegetables, fruits, buns, cereals, sweets, cheeses, sausage, omelet.
One thing is that the staff is not Russian-speaking, English is everywhere (as in principle in Istanbul). With the help of an online translator, we managed to solve all the issues)

Great hotel.
Convenient location. The famous Istiklal Street is just behind the hotel) Galatoport, Dolmabahce Palace, Galata Tower, Blue Mosque and all the sights of Sultanahmet district are within walking distance. The hotel can be reached from the airport by metro.
Breakfast for 5+, as in all inclusive. The restaurant is on the 6th floor, with a terrace overlooking the city.
The room was booked superior. The room had everything you needed, including shampoo, gel, free water/tea, a minibar for a fee. Daily cleaning service.

Excellent location near Taksim Square. We stayed for 3 nights. Clean, cozy, cleaned every day. Delicious breakfasts on the roof. There is a Russian-speaking staff, if it is important for someone.
The standard room has no window. Rather, instead of a window, you have a view of the wall. I knew this information before booking, it was very convenient for me, the opportunity to sleep well after long walks without extraneous noise from the street.
An ideal transport interchange and photogenic streets around

A great hotel, we stayed there for five days and were very satisfied! The breakfasts were good, the mini-buffet, there was always something to choose, even for me, who was quite picky about food. The hotel looks chic — stylish, well-groomed, fashionable, especially in comparison with other hotels nearby. The location is just perfect for walking around the city!
The downside, like everywhere else in Istanbul, is noise. There's a hospital nearby, and an ambulance runs regularly. Plus, the noise insulation in the hotel itself is weak: you can hear everything that happens in the corridors and behind the walls. The rooms are small but very cozy. We got a room with a balcony and a stunning view — it was a real cherry on the cake!
In general, we are very glad that we chose this particular hotel, and if we go to Istanbul again, we will definitely stay here.

A good hotel with decent service and a beautiful interior.
There is always a working staff to solve issues, excellent cleaning. Special thanks to the Russian-speaking maid, who leaves comfort in the room after cleaning.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 11 am in the hotel restaurant, a variety of dishes are cooked deliciously, the amount is regularly replenished, so it is comfortable to have breakfast at any time of the interval. There is a roof terrace with tables.
The room is replenished with water, tea, coffee, cream, bath accessories (good quality, not diluted).
Towels and a mat are changed daily, and bed linen is also optional.
A clean, comfortable bathtub. A soft mattress and two sets of pillows per place.
An iron and a board are available on request.
The manager was interested in the satisfaction of the service during the stay.
There is a refundable deposit of $ 100 (refunded upon check-in, the amount is deducted from the bar menu if you used the mini bar)
For suggestions/comments:
The accommodation includes a sauna and a hammam. We were told twice about the need to book a visit time. The recording is only from noon. We adjusted the time, signed up for a specific time. When we came by appointment, we were told that there were other people in the hammam now. As it turned out, the visit is free and not individual. That is, it is a public place where no entry is required at all. We only need an appointment for the spa program, although we have announced several times that we only need a hammam. It seems that all the staff is English-speaking, I did not understand what the problems with the explanation were.
Overall, I recommend a wonderful hotel. On the next trip, we will not experiment and come back here.

Among the advantages: The convenient location of the hotel, a delicious variety of breakfasts. The rooms are small but cozy and clean. The air conditioner was working, everything was fine!
At the reception, they take a $ 100 deposit, return it if everything is OK. They speak only Turkish/English, you can use a Google translator without any problems. You can also ask for an iron, there is no extra charge for this 🙌🏻 But the staff (cleaners, waiters) do not speak English, only Turkish 🤗
The hotel itself is very beautiful, the veranda is amazing!
Of the cons : Cardboard walls and noise from the early morning cleaners : (All this is audible and it is impossible to sleep properly at least until 8 am ... The door to the bathroom in the room does not close, not everyone is comfortable with it
I would like to return, but to a bigger room, with the hope that it will be quieter there

They settled in quickly. It was relatively quiet, only on the last night the neighbors changed. Sometimes there was noise from the hallway because the room was close to the elevator and some of the guests were being noisy. But this is not a question of the hotel (unless they could have given an additional warning), it is a question of education and respect for others.
The breakfasts are good: of course it was monotonous, there were no menemen or glazes (someone had one). But you won't stay hungry. I would like to have a coffee machine freely available, rather than a coffee pot on request.
I didn't like the ventilation in the room and had to turn it off.
Very good location, although there is no view from the window. But if Taksim is closed, then you are away from public transport and have to walk a lot. There is a grocery store nearby, and Migros is a little further away.

A wonderful hotel. We lived in a suite with a terrace overlooking Taksim Square and we could even see the Bosphorus and the illumination of one of the bridges. Two bottles of water were brought every day. Tea, coffee, sugar, kettle, mini-bar, safe. The receptionists do not speak Russian at the reception, but they do speak English and have nothing against a Google translator if necessary. I personally did not have WiFi connected, but I did not address this problem to them, as it was not necessary for me personally. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. A super place! A lovely small hotel with a great location. Almost next to Taksim Square. Turn the corner, walk a little and you will find yourself on one of the most famous pedestrian streets in Istanbul - Istaklal. The hotel itself is also atmospheric - a building from the beginning of the 20th century, you can easily slip past the entrance to the hotel if you don't know where it is. Inside there is an elevator with doors and spiral stairs. The restaurant is upstairs with a veranda. From there you can see a mosque with minarets and even the Bosphorus in the distance. The rooms are not very large, but spacious, high ceilings, lots of air. Everything you need is there -a tea set with a kettle, slippers, bathrobes, shampoos, soap, lotions - standard for 4 stars, everything fits. A mini-bar is available for a fee. The spa is free of charge. The breakfasts are good, there are plenty to choose from - porridges, yoghurts, omelets, spring rolls, vegetables, fruits, muesli, dried fruits, cheeses, pastries, soup was also there. They clean and change towels every day. The closet really looks more like a chest of drawers, with open hangers. Someone may not have enough shelves. There were no chairs at all, there was one banquette at the table next to the TV, but that didn't stop us. The windows open, we had a view of a narrow street and a neighboring house. Keep in mind that it is quite noisy on the streets here and life boils all night because this is the center. So lovers of silence and archaism are not here. But those who love the movement will like it here. It seemed to me that almost the entire hotel is our compatriots. I recommend it to everyone, it's great here. But I can't say anything about the air conditioner - it looks like there is central air conditioning, I didn't see where to adjust it. We were in late October - early November, it was turned off, but the room was warm, we even opened the windows, but we are hardened and love the coolness. We walked down to the embankment, boarded a tram and went, for example, to Sultan Ahmed Square...from the new airport, we came directly here to Taksim Square by shuttle (about 50 minutes away) and then walked a little. In this small, atmospheric hotel in an imperial building, you will definitely feel the lively atmosphere of the center of Istanbul.

The hotel is excellent, in a historical location.
Nearby Taksim Park, the beginning of Istiklal pedestrian street.
The rooms are good, I disagree about the poor sound insulation, we slept well. Comfortable beds, clean linen and towels.
There was a birthday present from the Hotel.
The guys are all very nice, both as maids and at the reception. Not a cheap but delicious restaurant, European-style on the roof. Communication through a translator is either in English or Russian, but they don't know. In the modern world of gadgets, this is not a problem.

The location of the hotel is strategically convenient! It is almost equidistant from all significantly interesting places! You can walk or get there by public transport. Beautiful views from the roof! Interesting location of the restaurant. The guys at the reception are neither in Russian nor in English... But this is not a problem, almost all issues have been resolved.
I didn't like that they smoked in the hotel! We rented a two-room room and in our room the window looked out into the inner "shaft". Someone managed to smoke into this mine periodically, all the cigarette stench was drawn into the room. It's not pleasant. Smoking is evil. After a slight scream, it didn't happen again. A paper house.
During the honeymoon, we visited three hotels and this one was the most pleasant, good breakfasts, great view from the restaurant, there is a smart TV in the room, and the bed was cleaned and changed every day.
The most important thing, which negates half of the advantages: audibility. It's like cardboard walls here. And the worst thing is that there is an ambulance station nearby. And their flashing lights are sooo loud. And there is also a road nearby and it is very narrow and busy, and every taxi driver's brakes in the car are literally tied to the horn, and every 10 minutes you will hear the cherished "tu-duuu" day and night, and so on. It would seem that what could be worse? Add to this the disassembly of a Japanese couple at 4 a.m. (it seems to be on the floor below, but the feeling is that literally in your room), the drunken brawl of girls who were apparently evicted and they took out their negativity on the door (they slammed her for 40 minutes without exaggeration with screams), as well as a quarrel of some Arabs closer to one o'clock nights and, of course, exclusively rudeness to any remark about decency and time.
The shower door hasn't closed yet, well, there's a free spa, if you go there, they'll give you a massage for 10 minutes, and after saying that you only need a spa, they'll look like a scourge and point their finger where you should go.
Well, a tip for newlyweds: take a marriage certificate with you or take a good photo. Without it, you will not receive a complement from the hotel (wine and fruits) and discounts on massage, although I showed you my passport and a photo with a certificate, but without options. Although, of course, this is a small thing

The rooftop restaurant is open in the evening, the prices are acceptable, delicious. The location is excellent, near the metro. If you need to climb from the embankment, you can use the underground cable car from Kabatage station to Taksim, quickly, inexpensively and conveniently. Istiklal Street is nearby.

Excellent location, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, cozy, new, modern rooms, everything you need in the room, but it's noisy day and night, but you run into it so much all day that you don't notice the noise by the evening, I recommend the hotel

We had a rest in it in January 2025. Nice hotel. Cozy, clean, tidy. In the very center of the city, a 5-minute walk from Taksim Square! One of the surprises that awaited us was the charging of a deposit of $100 upon check-in. The hammam is supposedly free, but make no mistake, only steam is free there, everything else is for money. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied! There is a Russian-speaking manager!

Location is both a plus and a minus. Transport accessibility is good, but the hospital is nearby and a narrow street with ambulances with sirens is tough. Walls and windows don't delay sound in any way. The same can be said about the sound insulation between the rooms. There are not enough curtains to cover the entire window and sleep in the dark, or at least hide from the eyes of people from the windows opposite.
Delicious breakfasts, inconvenient navigation inside the building, the staff is polite, but quite intrusive in terms of additional services.
Never go to their spa, it's just a tin can) this is probably what massage parlors look like with the end))
The rooms are small and tired.
If you are hoping to relax and sleep here after a productive day of sightseeing, then I dare say it will be very difficult, even if you usually sleep soundly.
There is free WiFi.
The review turned out to be a bit confusing, but hot on the trail.
We stayed at the hotel with my wife from February 14 to February 17, 2025.

We were at the beginning of April, the location of the hotel is excellent! Metro, funicular, Istiklal main street 50 meters away - all shops in one place. You can walk to the Egyptian market, park, promenade, Nisantasi. The hotel has a fresh renovation, daily cleaning, very tasty and varied sunsets on the terrace overlooking Istanbul. Very tasty coffee! The staff is friendly. No one speaks Russian, if you don't know English, the translator app will help. A deposit of 100 USD is charged upon check-in. You can use the hammam for free. The hotel offers excursions, you can take them without fear. The Galata Tower is nearby, but we did not get there, it is under reconstruction. We took a room with no view of the city, the window looked out into the mine, there was little air. There is a problem here, the air conditioner worked only for heat, which caused a lot of inconvenience. It was very hot in the room. But in general, I recommend the hotel!

An excellent hotel , the AKKA chain pleases . Very convenient location , excellent service. But, the room was very stuffy, the air conditioner did not work for cooling . And be prepared for the fact that the hotel staff does not understand Russian from the word at all. I was also upset that the planned trip to the SPA and the hammam and sauna were cold , although the appointment for the visit was fixed in advance ,
