An impressive place! The mountains are magical, with the right lighting you understand why they are called the white mountains (Aktau). It is impossible to describe the beauty of the mountains in words, it must be seen. Everything is organized: there are parking areas, benches or small gazebos for recreation, large garbage containers, camping areas, toilets (but closed and duplicated with the usual "green" ones), and this is very important for steppe places. To get to them, you need to go to the village of Basshi, 2 Mametova Street, where the Office of the Altyn Emel National Natural Park is located, pay for travel through the territory of the national park, and only then you can choose one of the routes to visit: Altyn Emel or Aktau. Two places in one day will not allow you to visit the quality of the roads. There are a couple more attractions on the way to Altyn Emil and Aktau. In Aktau, you can visit a 700-year-old willow tree with a rodon spring, and Katutau (lava flows after a volcanic eruption).
