The museum is modern, with a rich collection. The exposition is well-organized. I really liked the halls with archeology. There are many finds from different expeditions, and the chronology of the region's development is presented. A curious gold collection. We learned a lot of new things in the halls of modern history. But, my weakness, the ethnographic hall reflects well the traditions of the peoples of Kazakhstan. You can also see musical instruments. And finally, take a picture in the yurt. The museum is worth a visit. We were pleased with the staff - friendly, knowledgeable expositions.

We were in Aktobe, we decided to go to the Museum of local lore. According to one of the reviews, we learned that the tour must be booked in advance. One of the advantages: a new, modern building,excellent repair. Interesting expositions. On the downside: only 5 of the 9 halls were working, and many of the exhibits were under restoration. The ticket price for Russian money is just fire, 200 rubles per visit. It is a pity that the tour was not available on Sunday. But the ticket was definitely worth the money. I recommend this place
