I recently visited the Akunin restaurant in Almaty and was very pleased. The atmosphere of the establishment immediately encourages a relaxing evening: stylish interior with oriental accents, soft lighting and unobtrusive music create a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helped with the selection of dishes and was attentive throughout the dinner. The menu was pleasantly surprised by the variety – from sushi and rolls to hot Asian dishes. I especially liked the tom yam: rich, fragrant, with a well-balanced pungency. The rolls were fresh, the ingredients felt high-quality, and the serving looked delicious. The prices are quite reasonable for this level of cuisine and service. One of the minor disadvantages is that during rush hours, the dishes are not served at the same time, so sometimes you have to wait a little. But this did not spoil the overall impression. In general, Akunin is a great place for both friendly meetings and a romantic dinner. I will definitely come back to try other items from the menu.
