A UNESCO World Heritage site offering a peaceful escape among thousands of date palms. It shows traditional irrigation systems and Emirati agricultural history. 🚌 Take a bus from Abu Dhabi or Dubai to Al Ain Central Bus Station, then walk or grab a cheap taxi.

While visiting the city of Al Ain, we found ourselves in a real oasis of date palms - after the scorching sun, being in the shade of trees is simply paradise. The date season has passed, so we didn't see them on the trees, but we were able to see with our own eyes how everything works here, how the soils are watered in the desert region. At the entrance to the grove there is a shop that sells incredibly delicious dates with various fillings. I have never tasted such delicious ones anywhere in the UAE.

Tourists write about the local maze among date palm gardens, yes, it's true) We tried to keep an eye on the road and memorize the route, but on the way back we went to another exit (from where we did not enter). There are no special signs, and there are no maps inside the park. That's the navigation here)) In general, we are happy with the walk, it is indeed an oasis, which is listed as a UNESCO site. Of course, it's not worth walking in the heat here, we were already in the evening around 4 p.m. (in early April), it was tolerable, but hot. There is nothing much to photograph here, just a walk and a look at the date palms, we came across one banana with green bananas, so there is a variety)) If you are already here in this city, then it is definitely worth a visit)
