My unforgettable trip to Petra began with a scenic JETT bus ride from Aqaba, a convenient and affordable option for just 15 dinars. For those who do not have a Jordan Pass, the entrance ticket costs 50 dinars — a considerable sum, but fully justified by the wonders that await inside. Despite warnings about possible scams, the locals were not intrusive — on the contrary, communication with them was easy and even humorous. One day, of course, is not enough to explore all the corners of Peter, but even in this short time I got amazing impressions. The pink-red city with its exquisite architecture carved right into the rocks and majestic landscapes has left an indelible mark. The famous Treasury, the Monastery and the dramatic passage through the Sik — all this takes your breath away and takes you back to ancient times. The fusion of history, culture and nature creates a unique atmosphere full of echoes of ancient civilizations. The locals, albeit with a reputation for cunning, add their own flavor to the overall impression of Peter. When their hospitality is sincere, it adds a special warmth and charm to the whole visit. This day has become a real mosaic of bright colors, rich history and the feeling of standing on sacred ground. Even if you have only one day, Peter's mystical beauty and grandeur will certainly enchant and remain in your heart for a long time.

Petra is an amazingly beautiful place with an amazing history. The pearl of Jordan. We were in October, in the afternoon between +15 and +20, a great time to explore. There is a main entrance and an entrance on the opposite side, where locals offer donkeys for climbing. One of the types of entertainment is riding a donkey uphill. I recommend.

Petra is great. We arrived by taxi from Aman early in the morning and ended up spending almost the whole day there — the route is long. The road starts from the canyon, and this itself creates a mood: first you walk between huge rocks, and then they gradually "move apart", revealing the facade of El Khazneh. The view is impressive, even if you've seen it a hundred times in photographs. The scale feels stronger in person, especially when you get up close and realize how huge and detailed it all is. We also went up to one of the viewing points (we paid the locals): there is a cool view of the temple. We still remember it with pleasure. And the full note is in the tg channel. t.me/VokrugSvetaZaUikend
