A great hotel on the shore of the Fjord, though on the second coastline. For those who want to stand right by the water, choose a Loen standing next to it, but it is worse and smaller by the stars. Alexandra is famous for its hospitality, it is the best food hotel in Norway, great breakfasts, lunches and dinners, a huge number of local dishes to choose from, an incredible amount of fish. Of course, there is also food familiar to many. The rooms have views of both the fjord and the mountain, it all depends on your wallet. There is a SPA on site, a heated swimming pool, part of which faces the street, especially in winter it is located in it. In summer, there are sunbeds for those who like sunbathing. Another interesting point is that the hotel owns the Loen Skylift cable car located nearby and you can climb it to the very top, from where you can enjoy incredible views of the valley. By the way, there is also a restaurant with panoramic views. Not far from the hotel is the famous Brixdalsbreen glacier, although it has now melted a lot, the ice tongue has become much smaller, it used to slide right into the lake. In general, I want to say that Alexander's hotel is excellent, be sure to take it with meals, it's worth it.
