My favourite place in the city.. the meat they cook just melts your mouth, let alone other dishes. Here, you feel at home, really, so the place's a big yes for me. Come try it out!

I highly recommend visiting this place. The menu is quite varied, the portions are large, everything is very tasty, high quality, friendly and pleasant staff. An institution with a long history and a pleasant atmosphere. One of my favorite places in the city.

When coming to the southern capital, we definitely visit this institution.

We walked around the city, looking for a place where we could eat meat. Everything that was passed by in the center was too pretentious and with a not very joyful "average check" from 15,000 tenge per person or with a lot of people at the tables (and since there are a lot of people, they may be tasty, but they will serve for a long time, but they already wanted to eat very much).
Sad and hungry, we wandered to the hotel, and on the way we came across this cafe. Initially, I was attracted by the cozy veranda, a large amount of greenery around, floor lamps on the veranda itself and silence 😊
Ordered;
- Steak New York - it was the best steak in my life! I've never eaten so much juicy and tender meat, it seems!
- In the menu section with soups there was a dish with broth, noodles and kazy - I forgot what it was called, but a friend said that it was also very tasty))
- baursak with sour cream
- lemonade "kiwi, mint, orange".
We managed to meet the 10'000 tenge. They ate so much that they barely crawled to the hotel.
We were served by a very nice waiter girl. There was a lot of attention paid to us, because there were not many people on Tuesday and 8 p.m.
In general, we were very satisfied! Next time we come to Almaty, we will definitely come back here for steaks 😊

It is not immediately clear where the entrance to the establishment is located. I went inside - not a single living soul, only two stairs, one up, the other down. I went up, went into the room - there are several tables, all empty - there is no staff. I already started to think that the place was not working, but I found a waiter in the next room.
There are no exquisite and unusual dishes on the menu. The set of dishes is close to home cooking.
🍽️ I managed to try it 2 times:
Hot funchesa (2400 kzt) is a good salad, but I didn't have enough in it.
Pepper steak (4200 kzt) - everything is great here. Delicious, the meat is without streaks, the roasting was perfect, the piece is large, the side dish is good! Bingo is shorter)
Creamy mushroom cream soup with guacamole(1500 kzt) - hooked on the combination of mushroom soup with guacamole, decided to try it. Unfortunately, the guacamole was not found there. I asked the waiter and got an answer, very little is added there. The soup looks like a thick hodgepodge, only instead of broth there is a creamy sauce. Due to the abundance of sausage, mushrooms are practically not felt, I am generally silent about a pinch of avocado. But it tastes cool and very satisfying, but the sediment remains)
Devil's chicken (3500 kzt) - served with hummus, it was spread on a thin layer of pita bread. You can't eat hummus without pita bread. The chicken was not impressed, well, I also had enough soup by that time))
There are many questions about the service: a long serving of dishes (30 minutes), the waiters have to wait a long time, they do not clean the table. I was sitting alone at a four-person table, instead of removing the extra appliances, they were piled up when some of the guests left the room - they turned off some of the lighting, leaving me in semi-darkness. It's also very hot in the second room. And this is an incomplete list.
The administrator woman saves the situation a little - she is very attentive, it is clear that she sincerely wants to help, but it seems that she is not enough for everyone :)
It is unlikely that I will choose this place to have a good time with friends. But a delicious and cheap lunch is quite a good option, besides on weekdays from 12 to 16 there is a 20% discount on the entire menu.
