I placed an order with oldcupad.com after being told that delivery would take approximately one month. I accepted this and waited patiently. However, more than two months passed and my order was never delivered. There were no proper updates and no clear explanation for the delay. After waiting far beyond the promised timeframe, I decided to cancel my order. Without any warning or prior explanation, £14.90 was deducted from my refund. When I questioned this, I was told it was a “delivery charge”. This is completely unacceptable, as the delivery fee shown on their website was only £12.81. Not only was nothing delivered, but they also deducted more than what was originally charged. I genuinely do not understand how a company can justify charging customers for a service that was never provided, especially when the amount taken does not even match their own stated fees. This behaviour is misleading and dishonest. I tried several times to contact them to resolve this issue properly, but they showed no interest in finding a fair solution. They simply repeat that delivery charges are non-refundable, while ignoring the fact that no delivery ever took place. After reading many other reviews, it is clear that delivery problems are a common complaint. This strongly suggests that this company uses low prices to attract customers, takes their money, and then fails to fulfil orders. Based on my experience, I believe this company is operating in a fraudulent manner. In my opinion, this is a scam. They appear to profit from delayed or undelivered orders and unfair deductions, rather than providing genuine customer service. I strongly advise others to avoid this company. No one should risk losing their money this way, and I believe the authorities should seriously investigate their business practices. Extremely disappointed and frustrated.
