In the Almaty Zoo for the first time, we were with two children 2.5g and 10 years old — and everyone really liked it, including adults! Especially from feeding giraffes - a lot of amazing unforgettable emotions🥰🔥
In front of them, they immediately sold the twigs that they eat (for 1000 tenge) and the photographers here - everything is just organized!! With children, there are also places to relax, sit down to relax, and there is a place to have a snack - and very tasty - at the exit of the red cafe (red decoration) there is hot and all drinks, and very fast service 👍🏻
The only disadvantage for me was the queue to the toilet (there are few working booths) - apparently there was a peak of visitors on our day)))
At the entrance, it is better to prepare payment via caspi (so as not to stand in line))
In general, I liked almost everything and a huge number of different animals 👍🏻

Attended by a large group of 11 people. Everyone liked it very much. The zoo is big and beautiful. There are a lot of animal species. I especially liked my favorites - giraffes and rhinoceroses, because they are not often found in zoos. If we compare, the Almaty Zoo is more interesting than the Novosibirsk One, but it is inferior to the Barcelona Zoo. I have not visited other large zoos.

A good zoo with interactive elements, the possibility of feeding some animals. In general, the layout is good (made back in Soviet times), it is very green, it is pleasant even just to take a walk. There are many different animals, including elephants, giraffes, bears and so on. Of the disadvantages, the territory is somewhat neglected in terms of well-groomed buildings, paths and other infrastructure elements. It clearly requires repair and updating.
