The Amber Palace impresses both with its scale and inaccessibility from the outside and with its beauty and sophistication inside. The mirror Palace with its starry sky effect is simply a masterpiece. Ganesha Gate with its delicate stone carvings, elaborate mosaics and a huge sculpture of Ganesha carved from a single piece of coral is certainly admired. But there are also Sunny and Lion Gates, the Victory Palace with the Glory Room are also beautiful. The Divan-i-Am Pavilion with its columns, with marble elephant heads at the top, as if supporting arches with their trunks, offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Yes, it must be seen.

You can ride up to the fort on elephants only in the morning, but in January there are heavy fogs, which prevents you from enjoying the views around. At the same time, there are a lot of annoying merchants around, trying to sell nonsense for a lot of money, and refusals do not work on them, they just run after the elephant and continue to howl reducing the price. As a result, the wooden elephant figurines that were originally offered for $ 50 were taken for 500 rubles, just to drive in silence. The fort is beautiful inside.

The place is interesting, but in places it is very dilapidated. The views from above are magnificent. Annoying merchants spoil the impression very much
