A good place, a park near this monument, you can always sit in silence, in the evening, under lights and music, in spring and summer birds sing, butterflies fly, players play different games, you can always play for interest, there are photographers, you can take pictures, for memory. Broadway is not far away, very interesting, there is everything, any entertainment, artists, cafes, stargazers, astronomers, striptease for the older generation, artists write to you for memory, for money, and there are those who sell, and all this passes through the park, on the corner of the famous corner, tobacco chickens, affordable prices Only the legs are small, well, it seemed to me, a little to the right of the museum, Amir Temur. On the other corner is the editorial office, still old, from those times. There is still a smell of fresh newspapers there. In the middle of the city hokim' yat and chimes. , hotel UZBEKISTAN, and much more. These are our traditional sights.

A nice and clean enough area. You can take a quiet walk, go to the Tamerlane Museum or take some nice photos. The main museums are just around the corner from the square.

The park is very impressive for its beauty, the monument to Amir Timur against the backdrop of the Uzbekistan hotel, blooming magnolias and an endless stream of tourists enjoying the hospitality of the East!

The square is very cozy, there are a lot of greenery, benches for recreation, you can ride samakats, unlike the square itself (alea, or as they say Broadway)In my opinion, there is very little lighting on the square itself, the paths where the trees are not illuminated at all for the city center, it seems to me this is a minus. The square itself (alea) is illuminated with colorful ribbons very beautifully, the prices are quite acceptable for ice cream and all kinds of catering, but this is in a stall along the way ice cream with a fake stick is just cool, but only in one place it's fun and cool to see right away, a person knows and loves his business, the second point is not like that without music and fun. As a result, I advise you to visit the monument and the square itself, you will have a nice time

The center of Tashkent. It is definitely worth visiting and taking a memorable photo. In combination with the Uzbekistan Hotel in the background, the photos are simply wonderful. As it is written on the pedestal - "Strength in justice"

The square with century-old trees has become impoverished...it has become empty and featureless after logging...the face of the city has been ruined...in the heat, there was an incomparable, unrepeatable place near the monument, and now there is a bare monument... and the trees that grew there for centuries have been cut down…

One of the main attractions in the center of Tashkent. In addition to the Uzbekistan Hotel, there are several restaurants and cafes around the square. I would recommend the "Corner", where on the ground floor there is a cafe-dining room with budget prices, on the second floor there is a restaurant where it is difficult to find a free table in the evening.

The second most important square in Tashkent. The monument to Timur is located in the very center. A beautiful monument. The square is a very well-maintained park. There is a Timurid Museum next to the square. I strongly advise you to visit. Be sure to pay for the tour immediately at the ticket office. It is not expensive, but it allows you to better understand the history of Uzbekistan and the Timurids.

There is a monument to Timur in the center of the square. Initially, there was a monument to Governor-General Kaufman, then Stalin, then Karl Marx, and now Timur. Nearby is a huge Soviet-era hotel "Uzbekistan", the palace of forums with figures of storks on the roof. There are fountains in the park.

A wise monument to the invincible Commander and one of the greatest military leaders and tacticians in history ["Pay special attention to the horse, such a commander and the horse should be a match!"]! Briefly about the main thing for fans of historical and mythical parallels: "... in his official correspondence, Timur continued to portray himself throughout his life as the restorer of the rights of the Genghisids. He justified his Iranian, Mamluk and Ottoman campaigns as restoring legitimate Mongol control over lands seized by usurpers" (Beatrice Forbes Manz). The main thing in short is "Strength in justice." This is the motto of Timur Amir, engraved in four languages on the granite pedestal of the equestrian statue!

The park at this place was laid out 140 years ago, but to this day the century–old trees – chestnuts, plane trees, oaks - have not survived. The modernized, renovated and renamed square appeared almost 30 years ago, when on August 31, 1993, a monument (authored by sculptors Ilkhom and Kamol Jabbarov) to the deeply revered Timur Amir was unveiled. The great ruler Tamerlane, sitting on a horse in full marching attire, with royal regalia, replaced the monuments successively erected at this place: to Turkestan Governor-General Kaufman, I.V. Stalin and Karl Marx. It became the dominant square (reconstructed in 2009), from where – from the center of new Tashkent with a radial ring system - 8 alleys radiate to the cardinal directions, giving rise to streets and roads that intersect the ring streets of the city. In the evenings, spectacular illumination of the monument, fountains, alleys and such "respectable neighbors" of Timur Amir as the famous chimes, the Palace of Forums, the iconic Uzbekistan Hotel, the Timurid Museum, ancient brick buildings of the Law University, the local Broadway. The place is iconic: it is almost impossible not to be here at least once, being in Tashkent as a tourist. And yes– "The power is in justice." This is the motto of Timur Amir, engraved in four languages on the granite pedestal of the equestrian statue

It is not the most majestic monument to Tamerlane, but it also looks extremely dignified, the will of the great man is felt, conveyed by the sculptor very naturally. Pay special attention to the horse, such a commander and the horse should be a match!

The area of Amir Timur Park is not a densely overgrown park with greenery and grass, you can spend time and sit on a picnic, but there are much fewer places with shade and nooks. A walk for young couples or with friends, or at least walking alone is not bad. In the evening, street musicians can often be found in the underpasses. To lose steam and fervor after a hard day.

Beautiful, clean, safe. Ice cream is sold on boards, delicious, at an average price in the city, without overcharging, as well as water prices are the same everywhere. Everything is put in order early in the morning. There are a lot of guests of the capital,

A wound that will never heal for the older generation of Tashkent. (Cutting down all mature trees). A huge uncomfortable space in the very center of the city. Perhaps over time, the trees will transform this place again.

It's beautiful, of course, but all the benches are located under the sun, and for 1 single bench under a tree there is either a queue or a fight, in general you can get a sunstroke or a good tan, it is not recommended for summer walks in the middle of the day in 50 degree heat!!
