I want to share an extremely unpleasant and, frankly, shocking experience of cooperation with the restaurant Amore Sea, which directly affected one of the most important events in our lives — the preparation for the wedding. Back in April, my husband and I booked this restaurant for a specific date, made an advance payment, and received a receipt. Everything looked reliable and professional — at that moment. However, after 2-3 months, quite by chance, we find out from an outsider — the presenter with whom we were negotiating — that he is already working at the wedding on the same day, in the same restaurant, in the same hall. Shock. Later it turned out that there were not two such couples, but three (!) on one date. After that, a series of attempts began to reach the restaurant and especially the manager. We didn't get a response for weeks: the line was "constantly busy," meetings with us were ignored, we were "forgotten," "weren't there," "come back later." It wasn't until THREE WEEKS later that we received a response: "Oh, the former manager didn't register the reservation, we didn't know." No apologies, no initiative to establish contact, to meet halfway, although the situation is critical. It's not about a dinner, it's about a wedding! During all this time, we have not heard a single offer from the manager to meet in person. Everything that we were trying to achieve happened only on our initiative. It felt like the restaurant just wanted to silence the situation and "wait it out." The message from the current manager was especially outrageous when we demanded specifics: "Guys, don't worry, let's wait for a response from the second couple and find out who booked the restaurant earlier. It will be fair." I'm sorry, what do you mean, "it's going to be fair"? How can we even talk about "honesty" in such a situation when it comes to gross violations of agreements and double (and later triple!) for sale on the same date? Can you even hear us? This is not a lottery or a "ticket queue", this is a wedding, an event that cannot be postponed or repeated. This approach is the height of incompetence. When we demanded to return the prepayment, of course, in cash (since that's how we deposited it), we were refused. This contradicts the norms of civil legislation, in particular Articles 1102 and 1105 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. But that's not even the point. The money was transferred to our card, from an unknown account, without any official letter, act of return, explanation - as if "they gave it back and forget it." Everything looked as informal as possible and, frankly, opaque. There were no words of apology, no compensation, no attempt to restore his reputation. Even after I posted a description of the situation on my Instagram, the restaurant representatives just looked at the post and did not react in any way. As if that's the order of the day. (It became clear from the comments that deceiving people is a daily thing) In addition, it is worth mentioning that we visited the restaurant several times before the wedding, and the level of cuisine left much to be desired. The rolls were served in a terrifying way — as if they were "twisted on the knee of schoolchildren", there was no aesthetics and freshness, I still have the photos. But then we turned a blind eye to it — we thought that the wedding would be taken seriously. How wrong we were. Conclusion: absolute lack of professionalism, disrespect for customers, inability to take responsibility for mistakes. The restaurant business is about service and trust. This is not the case here. We were left with a sense of bitterness and deception. I really hope that our review will help others avoid getting into a similar situation.
