The most terrible place in New Athos, the tables are dirty, the cutlery is dirty, they said the wine and chacha were homemade, it turned out that it was not clear at all that solid alcohol, they wrote a bill for payment, the prices did not match the menu, when they began to ask questions, the waitresses began to be terribly rude, and they also have gypsies walking around the cafe, trying for money to divorce, my family and I were very disappointed. We visited this place several times in November 2022 and the food service was wonderful. The price and quality that was at that time was perfect, I wanted to come there again and again, the cafe was packed out of season, music was playing and people were dancing.
Arriving now in the season, we were shocked… We went into the cafe and everything was dead, there was no one, we realized that the cafe was open with the lights on at the reception, we called someone, no one answered, but since we really wanted to go to our kind place, we just sat down at the table and decided to wait until someone appeared and in vain… Some guy called out to us and asked if we would order, I replied that we would, a woman came up with a maximum dissatisfied look and accepted our order.
Regarding the order, we took dolma, caesar and mojito, these are the positions that we took before and we have something to compare with. They brought mojito initially, if you can call it that, threw ice into mojito-flavored lemonade and that was it (last time there was soda with mojito syrup, with a bunch of mint in a glass and lime, it was gorgeous). Next, caesar was brought to us ... they just chopped up a huge tomato, threw in a salad, raw chicken and seasoned with GARLIC sauce (I think it's not worth explaining that the last campaign was with good chicken, with caesar sauce and cherry tomatoes). The culmination of our "banquet" was dolma, I had never tasted such a terrible dolma, it looked more like dolma soup, they brought a soup plate in which there was a slurry in which an unfinished dolma floated, with terrible minced meat and ketchup was poured on top of all this (there used to be a gorgeous dolma that was served on a plate and there were 10 of them pieces, and now only 5).
Prices have increased, but not much, they also include the mandatory 10% for "service", although it is not there, when we paid the bill, we stood over our souls and watched while I calculated the cash, as I put it, snatched the bill and ran away…
To sum up, even for free in this place, I would not agree to eat, it has become terrible. Very, very sorry.

We found out about this place at the end of our nine-day vacation, perhaps we would have gone there all the time. Fast and courteous service standard prices, but high service and restaurant atmosphere. Delicious and clean. Live music, it seems, in the evenings and on weekends. The food is not bad, BUT there was one very big but. The waitress and the chef swore very much, we were not served for a very long time, not just us, but all of us. I went to the kitchen and made a remark that the guests were waiting. But they didn 't care . One waitress did start serving tables. I took orders and we sat and waited and listened to the screams and screams. When we ate the bill, we waited for 20 minutes, it's very sad

Today we visited this cafe. We were shocked!we ordered Vats-so-so, the cutlet is overcooked dry, the ice cream does not match the appearance in the picture, we just put a piece of ice cream, no colorful balls and sauces! The manti turned out to be dry, the pilaf was porridge with carrots, an Adjarian boat without cheese, only an egg, the worst in Abkhazia! The roast was brought without vegetables and meat, just potatoes with onions! They said that the food does not match the pictures on the menu and the taste is disgusting! The owner made a scandal, yelled at children and women, called them pigs, ate everything and complain! Yes, the food was eaten a little, as the children were hungry and everything was paid for!!! We concluded that the institution would keep...Lo, such people spoil the whole impression of a vacation in Abkhazia

There is smoking in the summer veranda. The portions are small and unreasonably expensive. The signature dish "Athos" is three quarters of potatoes, instead of king prawns there are 2 very small ones, but the most important thing is "salmon steak" - this is kapets, there is no steak like that, something is not clear. The signature dish should be branded, so let's say the face of the institution. We were left hungry. I do not recommend eating here

I don't advise anyone, everything is bloated. We looked at the reviews and it turned out that it was better to take food with you or buy it in the store. The only thing they could do was brew tea bags, and they didn't even ask when to serve it. All the food was not tasty and was not brought to readiness . I ask everyone to think about it. We only went here for the whole vacation!Insanely delicious cooking in this cafe, the staff is very polite, the waitress girl was able to recommend and surprise both with prices and satisfy with the choice of food. I didn't like the service at all, the staff is rude, no customer orientation, we waited 10 minutes until they paid attention to us and accepted the order, and then 20 minutes until the bill was brought, neither "hello" nor "goodbye"!
The food has no taste from the word "at all", tiny portions for such money! Potatoes, mushrooms, fish are not cooked, meat is just fat.
Such an unpleasant impression remained that they spoiled the whole picture of Abkhazia.
You can't see such negativity even in canteens.
I do not advise anyone to visit!
