Ananuri Fortress is in a fantastic location, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. I really liked that visitors are allowed to enter the tower and climb up—it adds to the adventure and lets you fully experience the historical beauty of the place!

A cool place with a very ancient history! It is located on the shore of the reservoir. The view from the fortress wall is simply incredible! We stopped at the fortress on the way to Kazbek. We were in October, the water level dropped and the bridge of the sixth century opened to us, in summer the platinum is closed and it is not visible. We didn't have much free time, but if you were in your car, then there are well-equipped places on the beach for recreation and active games with children. Plenty of room for gorgeous photos)

The fortress is located far from the city, you need to order a car, it's worth it) On the way to the fortress, we swam in the Aragvi River on a beautiful beach)) Ananuri served as the main stronghold for the rulers of this region - beautiful views of the river, the rich history of the fortress, I recommend visiting with a guide!!)
