This place has been well improved, paths have been laid. It is convenient to visit even with a stroller or heels (we have seen such ladies)
Squirrels are running all over the area, which is very cute.
But it wasn't informative enough. Not even an audio guide.

The ruins of the ancient city are located near the town of Canakkale, 30 minutes by car. The cost of a ticket to visit the ruins and the museum (in the complex) for guests without a Turkish ID = 27 euros per person (August 2024). The museum is 4-storeyed, artifacts from different countries are collected. There are interactive stands, it will be interesting for both adults and children. I recommend.

It was very cool, cool, and we didn't regret going at all. The route from Istanbul is long, about 5 hours, then the same amount back, but it's worth it. We learned a lot of interesting things

Ruins, like ruins. Overrated. 50,000 Greeks could take him in a circle for 2 times. The most valuable thing in the museum. At least you can look at Ephesus on the spot.

I've been dreaming about this place ever since I read The Iliad, Homer's Odyssey and Irving Stone's Greek Treasures. It was really amazing. Don't expect too much, the place has been hidden underground for about 1000 years. But it's great that you can see it now. The horse was under reconstruction, but better look at the one that was left after the shooting of the film Troy in Canakkale, it looks more like the original than the one here. There are a lot of squirrels running around the ruins, five squirrels out of five.

Expectations are completely out of line with reality. If it were not for the realization that you are walking through the ruins of the famous Troy, then these are just excavations and piles of stones, of which there are a huge number on the territory of modern Turkey, and believe me, the vast majority of which are much more interesting to visit. In order not to be unfounded, I will give examples - Ephesus, Sagalassos, Mira, Patara). Plus, the figure of the Toryan horse itself was completely covered with scaffolding, so even a photo with a horse could not be taken...

There are no solid buildings left, only ruins. Squirrels are running around the park. If you want to buy something in the park, I do not advise it. Expensive. It is better to walk 400 meters, and take souvenirs at the counters at a more adequate price. Fortunately, there is a huge choice there

The territory of the museum is quite small, the exposition is, let's say, small. By the way, the horse was also unlucky, it was under reconstruction)

The excavation area is very small compared to Ephesus or Pergamon, you can get around in an hour. A free audio guide is announced at the checkout, but in fact it is not available

The horse is disassembled and under repair. The ruins are so ruined that your imagination should work very well. The place will be interesting only to those who are very immersed in the history of Troy.
I do not recommend it.

The city itself has not been preserved much. And many things seem far-fetched and far-fetched! But the museum is very cool and modern

Some kind of far-fetched ruins, more like merchants' houses than an ancient city. But the museum is cool, it's worth a visit.

Welcome to the Construction of uneven cubes on the banks of the Great Schliemann Trench. The surname Schliemann can be translated from German as a Bad Guy, by the way. Take some water and hold on to your panama hats)

The legendary Troy! It is a very beautiful and atmospheric place. And there is also the opportunity to climb in and take a picture in a Trojan horse (a giant wooden mock-up is installed at the very beginning of the park)
