The ruins of the ancient city are located near the town of Canakkale, 30 minutes by car. The cost of a ticket to visit the ruins and the museum (in the complex) for guests without a Turkish ID = 27 euros per person (August 2024). The museum is 4-storeyed, artifacts from different countries are collected. There are interactive stands, it will be interesting for both adults and children. I recommend.

I've been dreaming about this place ever since I read The Iliad, Homer's Odyssey and Irving Stone's Greek Treasures. It was really amazing. Don't expect too much, the place has been hidden underground for about 1000 years. But it's great that you can see it now. The horse was under reconstruction, but better look at the one that was left after the shooting of the film Troy in Canakkale, it looks more like the original than the one here. There are a lot of squirrels running around the ruins, five squirrels out of five.

If it were not for the realization that you are walking through the ruins of the famous Troy, then these are just excavations and piles of stones, of which there are a huge number on the territory of modern Turkey, and believe me, the vast majority of which are much more interesting to visit. In order not to be unfounded, I will give examples - Ephesus, Sagalassos, Mira, Patara). Plus, the figure of the Toryan horse itself was completely covered with scaffolding, so even a photo with a horse could not be taken...

There are no solid buildings left, only ruins. Squirrels are running around the park. If you want to buy something in the park, I do not advise it. Expensive. It is better to walk 400 meters, and take souvenirs at the counters at a more adequate price. Fortunately, there is a huge choice there

Я была удивлена, что знаменитая Троя, оказывается, в Турции 😀😀 прикольно и необычно, в самом населённом пункте стоит огромный троянский конь 😊😊😊

Конь разобран и на ремонте. Руины настолько руины, что у вас должна очень хорошо работать фантазия. Место будет интересно только тем, кто очень погружен в историю Трои.
Не рекомендую.

Какие-то очередные за уши притянутые руины, больше похожи на дома купцов чем на древний город. А вот музей классный, стоит побывать.

Легендарная Троя! Очень красивое и атмосферное место. А ещё есть возможность залезть и сфотографироваться в троянском коне (в самом начале парка установлен деревянный гигантский макет)
