A chic, new, modern museum of archaeology. Lovers of antiquity will be very interested, you can learn a lot about the region and places that you can visit without going far. There is an audio guide. In summer, the halls are pleasantly cool. Special attention should be paid to the souvenir shop on the territory, at the exit. The prices there are above average, but there are souvenirs-books that are not easy to find in the store

Hello, everyone.
We visited the Archaeological museum in August 2024.
The ticket price is 15 €.
We paid in lira, about 550 l/ticket.
The museum is quite large, there are many halls.
Different periods of human development.... From the Neolithic and....
Unique finds found on the territory of Turkey during archaeological excavations.
Household items, amphorae, vessels, ornaments, statues, fragments of decors, mosaic floors, sarcophagi....
I recommend seeing all this with your own eyes in order to understand the scale of the works of art created by ancient masters.
Look into the eyes of certain statues.... The feelings of people in cold marble are conveyed....
They come to life.
Each room has comfortable sofas where you can sit down and admire the works of art for hours.
The air condenses, the objects are perfectly and competently illuminated.
The incident light creates an atmosphere.
You have been surrounded by such beauty for several hours.
Bottom line: I recommend 100%

The museum was visited in the spring of 2024. We were very satisfied. The exposition of the archaeological museum covers the period from the Upper Paleolithic (40-10 millennia) to the Roman Empire. The museum is located in the center, not far from Kaleichi, the old town. You can download the muzekart app and you will have your own free guide in Russian. The hall of statues and sarcophagi was especially impressive. I advise everyone to visit.

There are a lot of sculptures of Greek gods, the whole family really liked it. Everything is as high-quality and beautiful as possible, the sculptures are not covered in any way and nothing, if you want, you can even touch them. Peacocks walk freely in the courtyard. You can chase them too.

The museum is definitely worthy of your attention. Thousands of exhibits from the Stone Age to medals and icons of the XIX century. There are a lot of various ceramics, antique statues and coins from different eras. There is an audio guide - they give out a phone with headphones.

The museum is located in the historical center of the old city of Antalya. It includes two old buildings. Interesting compositions from the life of the Turkish people. Traditions, national costumes, furniture, dishes, coins. The ticket is inexpensive - 30 rubles.

A good museum, there is the necessary background information in English and Turkish, an audio guide is also in Russian
The only thing is that the entrance costs 15 € for non-Turkish citizens. And it's worth paying attention to, because almost all prices are in lira, except for the cost of one basic ticket
There is practically no museum cafe, but the shop is good: the literature is decent, and there is beautiful, even somewhat authentic costume jewelry (worth 250-300 lire), and various statuettes, also from 300 lire

An undoubted advantage is that you can enter the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum of Antalya for free. There you will find several tables in the shade, stone fragments are displayed along a couple of alleys, a pair of peacocks are released from the aviary, a toilet is available. Admission to the museum itself is expensive for non-residents - 15 euros! (however, you need to pay with a card or in lira) At the same time, the museum is small, with about 12-15 halls. However, a lover of antiquity will enjoy it: there are collections of ceramics from the Bronze Age to Byzantium, interesting marble statues and sarcophagi. In almost all male statues, the cruel time did not spare the noses and phalluses in the first place, although there are also a couple of priapic exhibits.

A decent museum.
I am grateful for its creation and the safety of the exhibits.
There is an audio guide, it's a pity that there is no Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work without the Internet.
Greek culture is amazing.

An absolutely amazing museum!! With a rich collection and atmospheric presentation of exhibits. In my opinion, it is not inferior to the Istanbul Archaeological Museum, considering, of course, that it is never possible to see it completely, a third or even half of its halls are constantly closed.. But not here, everything is open for viewing and a wonderful courtyard with peacocks!

Not cheap entrance tickets are 15 euros + an audio guide is another 15 euros.
They charge only in lira.
The statues are mostly from Perge, those that were dug up late and did not have time to steal and take to European and American museums and private collections. It is good that the history of those peoples who lived on these fertile lands has been preserved. Thanks to the Turks for starting excavations of old ruined cities and not hesitating to exhibit them in museums.

A great museum.
But the entrance seemed expensive. 1052 lira was given for 2.
There is a special application with a free audio guide. You need to download it in advance, install it on your phone, and after paying for the museum, scan the qr code from the entrance ticket and you can listen to the explanations of the exhibits.
It is very convenient, but I did not have the Internet and the opportunity to download the guide in the museum. And there is no WiFi in the museum(((
Nevertheless, the museum is excellent.

A good museum, you need to go, a lot of originals
The current entry price is always on their website, as of mid-October 2023 it is 340 liras
It works until 19:00, tickets are sold until 18:30, but go early, at 18:40 they are already starting to kick out and turn everything off.
You can get there by public transport, everything is in Yandex maps)
The audio guide will help you install using the app on your phone, if there is Internet. If it doesn't work out, then they offered a museum audio guide for free, they left a document as a pledge

1) There is no guide in any language!
This is the first time I have come across such a "museum"
2) There are also no headphones with translation. Not in any language. It's a mess. Where is the director of the museum? Where is the Turkish Ministry of Tourism looking??? 🇹🇷
