There are always a lot of people, the reviews are positive, the portions are large, the prices are acceptable (for a family of 4 people 3000r). In the evening there are always banquets and a disco until the night, fun for those who like to dance. It starts working sluggishly in the morning, after the banquet, you can wait a long time for the order. But overall, the place is warm, with southern hospitality and home cooking. We visited the Apsara restaurant, which is simply magnificent.The cuisine has exceeded all expectations, the dishes here are simply divine.The interior is pleasant, in soothing tones, creates an atmosphere of home comfort. The waiters are very polite, they do everything quickly, they always help with the choice of dishes!The hall is always clean and tidy.Their veranda overlooking the river was especially impressive!!!! You can pack your own food. Breakfast is served only in the morning. They work from 9:30, it says here that from 10:00. There are no breakfast restrictions on the menu, it's better to write them. I came purposefully for the cheesecakes, they are no longer cooked at 2 p.m.

The food is all delicious and Abkhazian cuisine and European cuisine. If you order Abkhazian dishes with meat, keep in mind that they will be spicy and spicy. The waiting time depends on the dishes that you ordered and on the number of visitors in the apac. But not for very long. The payment was in cash or by transfer. I previously wrote a five-star review from 2024, and I'm updating it in 2025. There are no five stars anywhere near, a maximum of three, and then on a case-by-case basis, provided that some of the staff were in a normal 2024. I do not know who or where saw the good nature of the staff in 2025, but I saw absolute indifference in 14 days. On the positive side, the wasps' nests on the veranda have finally been removed (they have been paying attention to this for years) and now you can safely eat, the view from the veranda is still beautiful, there has been no food poisoning in 5 years of rest in this place, and this is important for Abkhazia. From the disappointing one: The staff is lazy all the time. Their interest is evening banquets, and couples of tourists at different times of the day are exhausting. Unfortunately, the kitchen has become worse. Shish kebab with lots of bones, sometimes watered down kharcho, but the most exciting is the Greek salad with soy sauce. I'll remember that for a long time. And of course - packs of dogs that will prevent you from eating and add to the entourage of the restaurant. They are not driven away. Unfortunately, you don't have any special options, as this is the only place in the area worth visiting. But be prepared for the laziness of the staff, blaring music in the evenings due to banquets and, unfortunately, instability in the quality of food. Recommendation: Less champagne and no fish, and there will be no poisoning.

I understand that it's customary here (that's what they say), but why write that the cuisine is European? They shrugged their shoulders at my remark about the onion and did not put it away. Pork shish kebab is a nightmare. Fat, with cartilage and bones! More than half was given to the dog. When I made a comment, they told me that the pork was homemade. That is, it's a different anatomy, apparently. They didn't replace anything, they were rude, and there was another 10% tip in the bill. Probably for rudeness. At the next table, a couple was also swearing at the bad food. In general, we will not go for anything else, rudeness and deception on vacation is definitely an extra spice!

There was colorful lighting in the evening. I really liked the Abkhazian cuisine with pastries. I recommend the best barbecue in Abkhazia that we ate. Disappointment after the rave reviews!!! We visited this restaurant, read the laudatory reviews. We expected an Abkhazian feast of taste, but, unfortunately, the reality turned out to be extremely far from expectations. I'll start with a good one: there were negative reviews about the work of the waiters, complaining about the slow service. In our case, the waiters were very attentive and helpful, seeing our disappointment, they tried in every possible way to fix the situation - this is the only positive moment of the evening. I also want to praise the homemade wine and chacha separately — everything was really delicious. And now about the food, for which, in fact, we came. It was a complete failure.: 1. Meat in Adjarian style: The dish is served in a hot frying pan, but ironically, the pan itself was hot, and the meat on it was absolutely cold. It looked like it had been warmed up in a microwave and placed on a hot surface for show. As a result, we practically did not eat it, and there was no desire to take it with us at all. 2. Khachapuri in Adjarian style, deprived of the main thing — the cheese did not stretch, the yolk was steep. There was nothing to dip into, which meant that the dish had lost all its meaning. Expectations were not fulfilled . There was simply nothing to dip such a "boat" into. 3. Grilled vegetables and sauce: The vegetables were bland and tasteless. I decided to try to save them with white sauce, but it was a mistake. Unfortunately, I didn't like the sauce at all. It tasted like it was made from the cheapest mayonnaise, and the garlic and herbs did not save it, but only enhanced the unpleasant aftertaste. It does not complement, but completely interrupts the taste of the dish. 4. Eggplant with nuts: It's a pity, but it's also a disappointment. I really wanted to try this national dish, but it turned out to be absolutely bland, without the characteristic rich taste of nuts and spices. We barely ate two things out of politeness. 5. Trout: For 1000 rubles, we received an absolutely tasteless frozen fish. The fish had no taste or aroma. The only thing that was difficult to spoil was the rustic potatoes. He was normal, without complaints. Problem solving options that could fix everything: 1. After talking with other visitors, it became clear that the problem with the quality of the dishes was not a one—time occurrence, but a systemic problem. There is reason to believe that the quality of food varies greatly from cook to cook. Solution: Implement strict quality control and standardize recipes for all chefs in the kitchen. Stability is the key to regaining the trust of the guests. Serving cold meat in a hot pan is a critical mistake in the kitchen. 2. Review the recipe of sauces. Unfortunately, "white sauce" is a purchased mayonnaise, which reduces the cost of taste and does not correspond to the level of a good establishment. Homemade sauces based on sour cream, yogurt or matzoni would be a real highlight and would significantly improve the impression of the dishes.. The same white sauce can be made on the basis of matzoni or sour cream, it will be many times tastier and more authentic. 3. Pay attention to the freshness and cooking of the fish. For such money, guests have the right to receive a high-quality product, not a tasteless freeze. 4. Work on the taste of national dishes, such as eggplant with nuts. They should not be bland. It is a pity that the kitchen failed the diligent waiters. There is no desire to return here.

We had a rest at the Aqua Resort and came to eat here every day) The staff is wonderful, all the girls are very responsive and attentive. Asya always served us, honestly, I didn't even want to leave, including because of this beautiful place and people! The portions are huge. As a person who likes to eat, for the first time in my life, I probably ate enough there. There were four of us girls and everyone was satisfied. Caesar with shrimp is in the heart of us all, but we also tried different pans with beef, chicken and meat in Abkhaz style, everything is delicious! The hodgepodge is something with something. We tried it for the first time and now we won't forget it in a good way. The host of this establishment is very hospitable, we didn't even consider other places after the first time, we had a rest in another place a year earlier and the cuisine was not so pleasing anywhere else. I want to note that the prices are super affordable, especially for such portions. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Only the ear, compote and bread were rated excellent by us. Hashlama - with a huge piece of "meat", 50% of which was fat 😒 meat shish kebab with bones 😳 for the first time we got this. Complete disappointment. The meat is over-salted, overcooked, and over-dried. Plus, it was 14 small pieces, and the score was 1.2kg. Are you serious?? We constantly make barbecue at home and perfectly imagine what two hundred kilos looks like. The body kit is complete. Champignons on the grill 9 pcs. allegedly 500g 🤨 the same story with potatoes, a microscopic amount. Everything is clear, you have eaten, Russian Ivan. A bill for 4900 rubles. 10% for service is automatically included in the bill, otherwise they would not have left any tips, although they are always happy to give them for hospitality and delicious food. During the visit, the music was turned on so loudly that you had to shout into the other person's ear to say something. There was a hand basin outside in the courtyard, and while serving the dishes and utensils, the waiter, holding the phone to her ear with her shoulder, was talking loudly to someone. This circus clearly does not reach the level of a "restaurant". We won't be coming back and we don't recommend it to anyone.

Who allowed this person to communicate with people at all?) Fortunately, we had the right amount. Money thrown away, inadequately large for such food and service, ruined the last evening in Sukhumi. In the cafe on the embankment, the food is tastier than in this shit store and in any fruit stall they will gladly accept payment by transfer to a card without snorting.
