We recently visited the Aral sauna in Taraz and were generally satisfied, although not without some nuances. I rate it 4 out of 5, and now I'll explain why. The first thing I would like to mention is "cleanliness and comfort". The premises are well maintained, it is clear that they are regularly monitored. Steam rooms work perfectly: the temperature is stable, the steam is soft and saturated — exactly the way it should be in a good bath. There is a choice between Finnish, Turkish and Russian doubles, each is good in its own way. I especially liked the Finnish one — it's hot, but not stuffy. The interior was pleasantly surprised: wooden trim, pleasant lighting, neat furniture, separate recreation areas. There is also a pool with cool water — an ideal addition after the steam room. There is also a font and shower cabins in excellent condition. "The staff is polite," the receptionist quickly led us through, explained everything. The cafe at the sauna is also on the same level: the food is delicious, especially shish kebab and herbal tea. The prices, by the way, are quite reasonable compared to other establishments of this level in Taraz. However, "the main disadvantage is the large number of people." Perhaps we were in the "rush hour" or a day off, but the feeling of privacy that you usually want to get in the sauna was disrupted here. In the steam rooms, sometimes you had to wait until a place was free, and in the recreation area, you had to catch free sofas. The atmosphere became a little noisy, especially when large companies came to the sauna. It is recommended to book in advance, especially if you plan to come with friends or family. In general, the Aral Sea is a great place to relax and recover, especially if you get to a less busy time. We will definitely come back, perhaps on a weekday, to fully enjoy our vacation.
