Of course, we couldn't have visited Yerevan and not visited the famous brandy factory. The tour was very informative and interesting, not overloaded with unnecessary boring information - everything is concise, succinct and lively. Lucy is an absolutely amazing tour guide. Time flew by unnoticed. I am absolutely not a fan and connoisseur of cognac, but it was still interesting to learn the nuances of the famous drink's production and taste its noble taste a little. I also liked that you can buy cognac with a name sticker in the store. Just a great gift idea. You will definitely be in Yerevan.

After visiting Yerevan, it was interesting to visit the production of one of the most famous (maybe even the most famous?) The Armenian brand is the Ararat Brandy Factory. I am glad when a manufacturer takes care of people who are interested in his products - when there are guided tours, understandable exhibits and, if it is a food production, the opportunity to try what they do here. There is just such a production in Ararat, and it is correct. They will tell you about the history of Armenian cognac (and the factory was founded as early as 1887), they will take you to the basement, where you can see both barrels and old expensive bottles. And at the end, adult tourists will be offered to taste cognacs - with a story about each of them, with instructions on proper tasting. The tour lasts about an hour, after which you can go to the store and buy what you have just tasted. -) I must say that always, on all such excursions, people always buy what they have just tasted. The factory itself stands on a hill, and when you saw everything you wanted at the factory and bought everything you needed, do not be lazy to appreciate the view of the crossroads, the river and the Victory Bridge. The view is beautiful. An excellent factory with a long history, where you can see how cognac is made, taste it and buy the right souvenirs from Armenia -)

The Ararat Brandy Factory is a must-visit place. It's a very interesting tour, everything is in essence, without unnecessary information. And in the tasting room, you will be taught how to drink cognac correctly. It's an interesting, atmospheric, memorable place.
