Most disappointing restaurant in my week here in Uzbekistan.
I came here due to the high reviews, unfortunately, it fell very short.
As it was a kbbq restaurant with grills, I was expecting to be able to grill the meat myself or at least have it done at the table, but it came overcooked in a hot plate. The marinated beef was overdone, and quite tough at some parts.
Next, the seafood tofu soup I ordered had no seafood in it. When I asked the waitress if the order was wrong, she just told me the bits are small and didn't even bother to look at it. Later, she came to say that it wasn't seafood but beef, and the minced beef was there but maybe too tiny. I've attached a video with the soup, and unfortunately there wasn't even minced beef inside. No apology for the wrong order, or whatsoever.
Prices here are very high too, more than 300k soms for the food shown. The banchan was the only saving grace, but overall it was not worth the time or money.

I am a big fan of Korean cuisine and would like to recommend this restaurant in the center of Samarkand, near Registan Square. Very warm atmosphere, friendly host, high-quality service!
The meat was especially delicious, both pre-marinated and raw, which we cooked ourselves on a roaster built into the table! And I've never seen so many equipped braziers in a restaurant, it's just great! But each one is also equipped with a hood!
Thanks to all the staff of Arirang and especially to the owner of this wonderful and delicious place, Ilhom, for their work and service!

I would come to Samarkand just to eat at this Korean restaurant. Firstly, the restaurant owners themselves will always tell you what to choose from the menu. Secondly, there are a lot of spicy and not so spicy snacks. Thirdly, you can roast pieces of marbled beef and marinated pork on the braziers yourself, you'll just love it. In short, anyone who has watched Korean dramas at least once, come here. I definitely recommend it, and I would come back many times, but unfortunately, I have to leave tomorrow.(((

A wonderful place!
very tasty! It is very diverse. and incredibly cute.
It was the first time we ate meat on a Korean roaster. in general, nothing complicated. we know how to use chopsticks and understand how everything works, so we didn't expect so much care and participation from the owners at all.
but we were constantly approached. They helped us, asked if we needed anything.
It was incredibly pleasant.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and a wonderful dinner!

We were a company, four people. Everyone has negative reviews. The food is not delicious, it does not match the photos and description from the menu. The menu says grilled, but they bring boiled meat. The staff is talking loudly, swearing right in the hall in front of the guests. The waiter tried his best.

It's a very cool place, we celebrated our birthday here. I really enjoyed the opportunity to cook my own food. Everything is very tasty. The main dishes are served with a lot of salads as an addition without a separate fee. Recommend 👍🏻
