Now that is almost perfection. The halls organisation (emperors, gods), the long gallery, the tomb section - amazing. The audioguide's quite helpful, too. The only flaw I noticed - AC. It was rather hot inside.
Definitely worth a visit!

A magnificent museum! A small part of the exhibits is on the street, in the courtyard of the museum. The territory is beautiful! Inside the museum, we looked at all the halls in sufficient detail. It took us 2.5 hours. We took an audio guide. The exhibits were described quite interestingly, with a brief summary of the history of a particular one. We went as a family with a child of 11 years old. My daughter was not very interested, and in order to captivate her, we came up with a rating of the most beautiful and most terrible statues, the youngest and the oldest. She began to have fun and began to walk around the museum with a little more interest.
And as for my husband and me, we really liked it! It's a pleasure to look at the originals and listen to the story, I tell you!

I liked the museum. First we visited the ancient city of Perga, then the archaeological museum. You can take an audio guide in any language. Like everything else in Turkey now, including museums, the ticket is expensive. But if you have a lot of time and you are with an audio guide, then you can spend the whole day. It's interesting inside, the outdoor exhibition, in my opinion, is not worth paying attention to. But of the cons, and this is a very unpleasant moment, especially for those who pay with a card, the ticket costs 15 €, the audio guide is separate and optional, but the girl selling the tickets without asking us automatically sold the tickets and the audio guide, and it costs 10 €.As for me, it's disgusting, I don't like to go and listen, firstly, and secondly, it's an imposed service that costs a lot of money. Every time you are in Turkey, you need to be careful all the time, even in these little things.
