I really liked the hotel. We were well received at the reception, the room is spacious and beautiful, with a view of the sea. Every day there was cleaning, towels were changed and drinking water was replenished, which was very pleasant. Breakfast is served on the 3rd floor overlooking the Bosphorus, and there is a large selection of dishes: omelets, sausages, various rolls, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, yoghurts, and cereals. You can have a varied breakfast every day. The location is convenient, opposite the embankment hotel, close to the main mosques. I totally recommend it!

I liked the hotel: the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are wonderful, the panorama of the Bosphorus speaks for itself. There is actually one disadvantage - if you are not ready to spend money on taxis all the time, then walking uphill and back (to walk some ridiculous 850 meters to the Blue Mosque) will quickly tire you out. And the Kennedy Avenue bus is completely off schedule. And yet, but here's the flip side of the coin - paying for the very center - the place is very touristy, full of hotels, respectively, and prices in small shops and cafes / restaurants are very touristy.

It's a great hotel. Comfortable, cozy. Pleasant, caring staff (we also ordered a car to the airport through reception, we left at 5 a.m. - everything was clear, the car arrived on time, they called our room when it arrived). There is a terrace with a beautiful view. The restaurant also offers a magnificent view. I didn't like the breakfast; it was a little meager for my taste. Good location. Not in the thick of the crowd, but also from all the major attractions within walking distance.

Nice hotel. They clean it every day. Very clean. Upon check-in, I asked for a room with a view of the Bosphorus. And I got it. The sunrises through the window are very beautiful. There are delicious restaurants, cafes, and tourist attractions nearby. It is convenient to walk to the district, and there is a bus stop across the street if you take public transport.

Cozy little hotels near the most touristic places of Istanbul. It takes 10-12 minutes to walk to the tram. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. There is a social canteen within a 3-4 minute walk. Our room was from the superior segment. View of the water. Quiet area. A clean room. Delicious breakfast. We liked it!

A nice hotel in a quiet area, near the center, the room is not big but cozy, the beds are with excellent mattresses and pillows. The breakfasts are very decent, everything is fresh and delicious, the restaurant is on the top floor, overlooking the Marmara Sea. I recommend the hotel!

A good museum hotel!with a great location, with an awesome roof terrace, on one side a view of the Bosphorus, it is across the street from the hotel, and on the other side the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Mosque.Nice white linen, towels. There is a kettle, glasses, coffee, tea. There are no slippers or toothbrushes, but we took our own.but it seems like at the reception on request. You leave the hotel to the left, climb up the hill 300 meters and immediately you will see the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, a little further the Basilica Cistern, 15 minutes from the Grand Bazaar hotel! There are a lot of cafes and fast food, but all this is the center and of course the prices are quite high. The breakfasts are hearty, although monotonous, but there are a lot of things, with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, we specially went early to admire the sunrise! The staff is polite. There is an elevator! In the lobby there is a fountain with red-eared turtles and a museum of national Turkish culture, dishes, textiles, sewing machines and so on are collected

That's great!!!! It's just like in a fairy tale! Clean bed, airy terry towels. The food for breakfast is varied and very tasty. And most importantly, you leave the hotel, 10- 20 steps and you are on the embankment, a large convenient promenade and there is also a pier from which actors sail every half hour for a walk along the Bosphorus. In addition, Sultan Ahmed and all the sights are within walking distance. A couple of kilometers and the Galata Bridge. In general, it's gorgeous! By the way, there are many cafes with delicious fish menus near the Armada. I recommend it!

A very interesting hotel with its own cons and pros. - A monotonous breakfast menu. + View from the roof during breakfast: look to the right — the sea with the strait in front of you, to the left — the main mosques (well, and the rubble places of life into the bargain). - If you take a room with a sea view, then you should forget about open windows at night: cars, the railway and the walking public will not let you sleep well. + There is an air conditioner. It's hard to judge for sure, but the view of the mainland should be so-so... Otherwise, it's a decent hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere with hints of British expansion. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the staff is good, which we seem to have scared a little by missing.

It's a good hotel, there are no problems with cleanliness, the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast range is very good, delicious, convenient, summer outdoor and winter indoor terraces with sea views, seagulls fly in during breakfast and look at you through the window.

Comfortable mattress and pillows, the room is spacious, there is everything you need! It's a little chilly in March, but you can turn on the air conditioner with warm air and it gets more comfortable) I recommend it!

Beautiful hotel in the central part of the city. Convenient, 15 minutes to Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia. View from the restaurant to both mosques and the Bosphorus. Of the cons: only free breakfasts (I emphasize this because when booking it was paid for breakfast and dinner, in fact - only breakfast is free). The hotel is built in an old building, hence some problems - the air conditioning system and sewerage are old (the rooms cool down for a long time, there was sometimes an unpleasant smell from the shower, but after contacting the reception it seemed to get better). A little lizard crawled into the shower once 😂😂😂 The staff is helpful and friendly. There are few shops nearby where you can buy yourself a snack (I think this is generally a problem in the historical parts of any city) If you want to walk a lot and live in the historical part, then the hotel is great, but there are disadvantages that you will have to put up with if you relax here. Overall, I liked it)) Would I like to go back there? Maybe, but maybe not.

We visited the Armada Hotel in early January 2025. The hotel is old, the rooms are shabby, the cleaning is so-so, the dust is in place. The furniture is serviceable, the plumbing is fine too, not everything is brought by the soap makers. There are no balconies. If there is a 3rd floor and a deluxe room, then the view of the sea is marble. If the same floor is standard, then the view of the old courtyards. The 1st floor of the reception is very coolly decorated in the form of a ship deck. The exhibits are old, very atmospheric, and the tableau with live turtles is also cool. Restaurant: breakfast is more or less, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, a lot of sweets, nuts, honey, our only omelet with vegetables and rolls. No sausages, no bacon, no fried eggs. The coffee, tea, and lemonade are great. Overall, good impressions. But not by 5.

For the third year in a row, we have been staying at this hotel during our business trips. The location is good, the staff is excellent. On the downside: the breakfast menu has not changed in three years. The choice in the restaurant is sad, there are many restaurants in the neighborhood (even in hotels) where the choice is much better. And most importantly, the price, I went through the neighboring hotels, this hotel is 20-30% more expensive.

I booked a Deluxe room with 30 squares on the Island, with a double bed, but upon check-in they gave me 20 squares of Standard, which is several times cheaper! with two separate beds, saying that this was the Island's mistake, there are no more rooms, although there were rooms on the website, they did not give any payment receipt or any supporting documents.. There are no dental kits or lab coats.. The window cannot be opened, there is noise from the road, tourists coming, there is no air conditioning, mosquitoes .. Instant coffee in tea bags.. The toilet behind the light glass door doesn't even close..in the locker, the doors do not fully close (the hangers are too wide), there are no sockets near the beds, some of the lights did not turn on, some did not turn off (I had to take out a card)... the only plus is that the main attractions are very close.. It's not much of a hotelier, it's all old.. definitely not worth the declared money on the Island, especially this deception with large numbers..

Very good. Good location, very close to all major attractions. 20 meters from the sea. The main thing is relatively quiet. The hotel itself is more like a triple. Clear. Breakfast is so-so. However, it is almost at the same level as in other hotels. There are no bedside outlets in the room.

I was here in 2022, and it's basically a normal hotel. Don't expect anything supernatural. Three stars. The food is for an amateur, monotonous, but you can have a snack while walking. One of the unequivocal advantages is the proximity to the sea with a beautiful view, walking distance to the central square. In general, we come to Istanbul to go for a walk, and we need a room to spend the night, before that there is just enough. If you want to stay in a room, then of course it is better to choose another hotel.

Just in case, I will clarify that the review is for the Armada hotel (it is indicated incorrectly on Yandex maps). The hotel is not bad, but a bit shabby. The furniture has been in need of repair for a long time. A very limited set of bathroom accessories (in fact, only soap and shower gel - no shower caps, pastes, brushes and other familiar little things). This is the first time I've seen that there are no sockets near the bed… One of the obvious advantages is the location, right in the historical center within walking distance to all the attractions. Good breakfasts in the view restaurant. The staff is very friendly. Adorable turtles in the lobby! In general, I probably recommend it, but don't expect frills.

A very decent hotel, not enough stars, excellent price/quality ratio. We lived in a room with a view of the Bosphorus, in the month of March. Of the advantages: - historical center, 15 minutes walk to the main attractions; - tram stop nearby (3 min) - take one stop to the transport hub - ferry-metro-tram-bus - cleaning every day; - we checked in at 7 a.m., we didn't keep them until 2 p.m.; - comfortable bed, medium hardness - elevator; Of the cons: - there are no sockets near the bed; - it's a somewhat monotonous breakfast, but there is a choice, goat cheese is just great, so I didn't lower my rating.

A great place for a cozy stay in almost the most historical center of Istanbul. Far from the hiking trails, but very close to the Marmara Sea. It's literally a minute's walk, but the Mosques are just around the corner - 7 minutes maximum. The service is very good, and the views from the windows of the room and the outdoor terrace are simply breathtaking!
