This is undoubtedly a theater, but not an academic, classical, but a modern studio theater, at some time they were called experimental.
I visited a production about Viktor Tsoi, Almaty residents, as I noticed, want to associate themselves with him, or Tsoi with Almaty, "there must be" a certain popular symbol, a Hero!
The production is just dedicated to the feelings of the boy and the townspeople from the concert of Tsoi, plus the line of the author-performer from the local rock crowd.
Non-academism also lies in the seating of the audience, on the steps, as in the Greek arena, on the action taking place at arm's length, you can clearly feel the emotions of the artists, "touch" them, in the end there is a screen with video sequences, and the action takes place on an improvised "podium" between the audience!
It's nice that "acting The cadres" are not only Russians, but also Kazakhs.
If you are ready to accept such a presentation of theatrical art, not classicism, if you are curious about Tsoi's work, you are interested in how the country lived in the 90s-you are invited to this production.
