Very nice view from the Athena temple. A place which is existing since 13. Century BC.

Excellent panorama of the hills, the sea, the island of Lesbos. Entrance to the museum is 11 euros for foreigners. From the history of the ancient city on the posters, I realized that Aristotle lived here. You can see the ruins of the ancient city of Assos. The remains of the Athena temple have been preserved to this day, and I added a photo against their background. And also the tall building where the Greeks took baths. When you go up to the museum, there is a small bazaar along the way where they sell souvenirs, jewelry, ice cream, and there are cafes. I really liked my photos against the background of this ancient city.

It's a beautiful place. The city is still being excavated, there are no "new buildings", everything is saturated with history in its true form. There are almost no people in the off-season. We need to take more time to inspect everything calmly. Not only is the temple on the hill beautiful, but also the amphitheater at the foot and the agora, just above the amphitheater. I recommend everyone to stop by and walk there for a day at least once.
