Big, very big, of course there are more, but in the city center, only this one, clean, spacious, lots of places for a cozy rest, ponds, lawns, gozonchik, fountains, roads for hiking and bicycles with scooters, beautiful, fresh air. A great place to relax after a day at work, take a walk, sit on benches or lie on the lawn, you can play sports. Just to walk and admire. A place for romantic meetings or hanging out with family and friends.

The botsad was laid quite recently, but it makes a pleasant impression. It can be seen that this is an interesting project. It is still being planted and equipped. The space is large, while large areas are filled with young, but already grown trees and lawns. So far there are no benches along the alleys, but you can ride scooters along the alleys. On one side of the garden there are reservoirs connected to each other and having three bridges to the city. There are places to relax. There are two modern greenhouses near the reservoirs. Succulents in one, tropics in the other. While everything is still young there too. There are almost no flower beds, the rose garden has just been laid. You can take a walk, lie on the grass, sit by the ponds. Toilets are located in greenhouses.

These are young trees that still have to grow and grow, there are several gazebos that are perfect for photo shoots. We were in autumn, perhaps flowers are planted in the warm season and it is more attractive to walk in the garden. There are greenhouses on the territory, but we have not been there. The garden is more suitable for cycling, scooters and just for jogging. There is a cafe where you can take a break, have a snack, drink coffee. In general, it is still more of a park, not a botanical garden.

Botan is currently being reconstructed. the garden. The pros and cons will be visible after the repair. There is one main disadvantage. It is impossible to walk in the alleys on a sunny summer day. There is no shade, no sun umbrellas and canopies, you can get burned out from the heat. Therefore, the garden is deserted during the day. In case of unexpected rain, there is also nowhere to hide. It is necessary to plant fast-growing tree species with a spreading crown along the alleys!!!

08/21/24 The summer ends, and the reconstruction of the botanical garden ends. The view of the main entrance has been improved. The pavement of the running and cycling paths was updated, and the paving stones were partially replaced. The alley made of lacquered timber has become prettier, it is pleasant to walk along it barefoot. A lot of girls were additionally planted.
But!! Unfortunately! The trees were planted for beauty, not for the convenience and pleasant walks of people.
Their shadow will fall not on alleys, but on bushes with mice and hares.
Why do we need the beaches of Turkey? We can get tanned, burned and soaked from sudden rain in the alleys of our

Отличное место , мое любимое в городе . Деревья , цветы , трава - прекрасно . Мягкая беговая дорожка - очень приятно бегать , площадки детские вполне приличные . И конечно корты для тенниса бесплатные ( да требуют местами реставрации). Также приятно посидеть у воды и или напротив цветущих роз в тени на лавке . Но вечером очень много людей )

It would be three stars, slightly relieved by the presence of modest greenhouses with succulents and tropical plants (1200 TENGE for 1 entrance ticket!). And so - a few hectares planted with pine trees, with paths. I understand everything, this is a value for Kazakhstan, but people who came from the taiga are puzzled. After all, the Botanical Garden sets a higher bar than a park with walking (unfinished) paths, cars for children and cotton candy. Fearing to be shot down by young (and not so young) vacationers running endlessly everywhere, we hurried to leave the strange park, not finding what was botanical about it.
