A great place to eat! The restaurant is located within walking distance from the Old and New Castles, right next to the fire tower. We arrived at the time of the business lunch and two menus were brought to us. One is lunch, the other is original, a restaurant with a bar menu, etc. We ordered a couple of items from both menus. Salad, soup, hot dishes, cocktail and dessert. The dishes didn't wait long, probably, because they admired the views from the large panoramic windows. They did not sit on the terrace because of the strong wind, although there are comfortable sofas and hanging nest chairs. And what struck us the most was the timely and systematic delivery! As soon as one plate was emptied, a new one appeared in its place. That's really a credit for it! In other restaurants, if you order several items, they will (almost) bring them to you immediately, and while you eat one, the other will cool down a hundred times. It was, of course, not very pleasant. But this is something else entirely. As if we were being followed (in a good way). Very tasty dishes and excellent service. Not loud music, as in many restaurants, but calmly unobtrusive playing somewhere from somewhere. If you eat in Grodno, then only Bakst!!!

What you liked: - very pleasant European interior of the restaurant - The friendly girl at the entrance offered us several tables to choose from - In summer, obviously, there is a beautiful view from the windows and from the veranda of the restaurant - The quality of most of the dishes: the bruschetta set is very good, the duck leg is beyond praise, the child ate some kind of pork dish, she is picky, but even she went over What didn't you like: - the only dish is the signature Bakst salad with roast beef - there is too little roast beef in it - The waitress who served our table spoiled the mood - she basically did not repeat the order, so they brought my wife something completely different from what she wanted to order. Perhaps the wife did not express her wishes very clearly and was misunderstood, but a similar situation occurred with the guests at the next table. So it's already a trend. In addition, this girl was somewhat aggressive, on the verge of rudeness. That's why it's 4, not 5.
