An amazing place! Beautiful, interesting, thoughtful! The children's area is simply gorgeous - pillows, poufs, everything to make children feel comfortable! There are small niches around the perimeter of the second floor where you can comfortably sit and read! This is really a place that awakens the desire to read books!

A wonderful store, a lot of books in Russian, including children's books. There is a good selection of books in the psychology department, I even found the diary of Mikhail Saidov's effectiveness. The store looks like a Hogwarts library. Classics and psychology books are 200-300 rubles more expensive than in Moscow. If I forgot a book on vacation, it is quite tolerable to buy it here on the spot. The children's department is wonderful, there are a lot of books, different publishers

If you are a student, a freelancer, or just looking for a cozy place where you can stick in a book, laptop, or phone, the Baku Book Center is a godsend. You can spend at least the whole day here: wi-Fi is working, the toilet is free, the atmosphere is super comfortable.
There are a lot of books, and what pleases is that there is literature not only in Azerbaijani, but also in Russian and English. Well, the central staircase is generally a separate kind of art. Huge, stylish. Everyone always climbs on it, takes photos and uploads them to social networks. On New Year's Eve, it looked especially beautiful — decorated with lights, garlands and festive decor.
And if you came here with a child, consider yourself lucky. For younger visitors, there is a real paradise here: a separate children's space with soft cubes, puzzles, toys and coloring books. You can crawl, flip through books, collect something funny, and generally enjoy time without adults "don't touch it" and "don't sit there."
There is a cafe on the ground floor, but we didn't get there — all the tables were occupied, which, in general, indicates its popularity. The only thing that disappointed me a little was that they didn't find wall calendars with Azerbaijani sights and culture anywhere in the bookstores. It's strange, because there would clearly be a demand.
