Vakhtanguri is the best Georgian restaurant! I want to leave a sincere review about the Vakhtanguri restaurant in Almaty. This is a truly amazing place with great Georgian cuisine, music and dancing. There are always very tasty kebabs, juicy meat and excellent steaks at really reasonable prices. It's nice that, unlike many establishments, they do not inflate the cost and keep an honest price list. Special thanks to the entire staff, the staff is attentive, friendly and always welcomes guests with a smile. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy. And I especially want to express my gratitude to Tamri, this pearl of Vakhtanguri woman, Every time we meet her, the mood immediately rises. She welcomes guests with special warmth and love, creates an atmosphere of hospitality and is literally the soul of this place. We are always happy to return to Vakhtanguri, and each visit leaves only pleasant emotions. We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a delicious meal and feel the real Georgian atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the impressions of the visit remained negative. It was cool in the hall, while smoking hookah, and we even saw a man with a cigarette, which caused obvious discomfort. The service leaves much to be desired: the waiters are slow, they walk in groups, but they pay almost no attention to the guests. As for the kitchen, I'm disappointed. The kebabs turned out to be rubbery and undercooked, almost half-cooked. Khinkali is not juicy, rather dry. The ham was more like an ordinary flatbread with a minimum amount of cheese. The Thai meat was tough. Of the advantages, we can only mention the musical program: during the evening from 19:00 to 00:00, dancers performed Georgian dances a couple of times, and the background music for dancing was not bad. In general, the institution did not meet expectations. We do not plan to return here next time.

Delight! Starting from the stunningly cozy atmosphere, the chairs directly absorb the negative. Very tasty. There's no point in highlighting anything, everything just rings on the taste buds. All the main types of Georgian wine are on the menu. For me, a possible drawback can be considered a fairly banal choice of beer, but this is still a restaurant and not a pub. The staff is courteous.

Live music starts at 8 p.m., and it's quite difficult to talk at the table because of the volume. I really liked the food. We ordered a bottle of water. The waiter brought water in a glass bottle without asking anything. As a result, it turned out that the water costs 2,750 tenge. In general, the waiters had to be caught and called on their own, they rarely approached themselves. Although we had a table for 8 people.

I love Vakhtanguri restaurant! I often come to have dinner and celebrate birthdays. The cuisine is beyond praise: everything is truly Georgian, delicious, satisfying and with a soul! The music is so-so, not very danceable, they are forced to order songs to dance a little. Terrible administrator: she screamed at the guests, came up with some rules that were not listed in the menu. On the plus side: The food is very tasty. We were an international team, the European guest ate everything down to the bones. We were sitting on the veranda, the decoration is interesting. On the downside: the guests will be greeted by a vida girl... how can I tell you, in high heels and a short black dress, it seemed to me that we were entering a men's club. What does Georgia have to do with it? Although the other girls were dressed in national style. Well, the waitress who started serving us didn't know anything at all. Not about the dishes, not about the wine, not about the availability. By the way, kindzmarauli and khvanchkary were also not available. That's all I can say about the "Georgian" restaurant. I was there with my wife and son: The hostess quickly accommodated us, the interior is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the good things ended there. The service is very lame, well, right on 1 out of 5 (but not zero). Next, the kitchen: only the soup for the child was delicious, otherwise you can get enough through force, but definitely without pleasure. If you thought I was talking about the kitchen, I hasten to surprise you: the bar is also mediocre- ice tea is disgusting, as if brewed from stale fruits, homemade wine tastes worse than vinegar (vinegar tastes fresh at least), but okay, bottled wine is acceptable And a separate topic is the price of all this charm) Unjustifiably overpriced! 2 stars purely for the interior and the fact that all is not lost - reforms are needed

Vakhtanguri. I was in this "restaurant" on 03/09/25. I believed the rating of 4.8 in Yandex. The entourage is quite tired, the toilet is thoroughly battered (the doors from the Soviet Union, and everything else may be a little younger). Prices are more expensive than in Moscow's True Cost, The Bull, Shokoladnitsa, and Irkutsk's Peppini, Entrecote. It's about the same as in Moscow's Teahouse N1, Il Patio, Irkutsk's Andriano, and St. Petersburg's By Bontempi and Cafe Italia. In none of the above establishments is the service included in the bill, and the quality of the food is consistently high. In the valiant "restaurant" of Vakhtanguri: 10% automatic service is included in the bill (the guys decided not to be shy and rushed, in their opinion, to the European level (so far the truth is only in a completely unreasonable figure, which I met only in Portofino, in other Italian restaurants it is usually 2-3 euros per bill). For food: I took 1) crispy eggplant (the batter is very thick, overcooked and hard), 2) quail (hoping to taste again what I tried in St. Petersburg Pavlova, but they brought me three microscopic corpses with the taste of old fat, dried in the refrigerator. The corpses were baked with great enthusiasm, the skin stuck to the skeleton, there was nothing to eat), 3) Dessert meringue roll (you can eat, but without any wow). The waiter asked me how I liked the quail, I replied that it was dry, and no further action was taken.… I didn't understand such a high rating in Yandex at all… The result: About 2,700 rubles and a spoiled mood. The food is 1/out of 5, the service is 0/out of 5, the room is 0/out of 5. I didn't take a photo, although I should have.

The waiter served Beck (that's how he introduced himself). The service is 120% out of 100. Attentiveness to wishes, recommendations and serving of dishes - just motivated to raise the mood. And it rose all the way to the next day with a pleasant aftertaste from the wine. The receptionist caught the request and booked a table in the right and convenient place, taking into account the composition. The music is great and not very loud. The work of the kitchen is visible through the glass, through which it was also visible how the hostess personally, like a vigilant mom, monitored the organization of processes.
