There is a coastline of about 2 Km in Kocaeli. A completely wooded and green area runs parallel to the sea. There are three small beaches about 30-50 and 100 m. It is forbidden to light a fire and barbecue. I've never seen anyone who uses alcoholic beverages either. There are restaurants and cafes around that you can use at very affordable prices. I stayed for a week. People are coming and going at all hours of the day. It is very crowded, especially on weekends and evenings. However, despite the crowd, it is quite calm, quiet and a nice place where you can listen to the head. The only thing that spoils this environment is that there is extremely loud music listening in the passing car because it is on the roadside, and especially the acrobatic movements performed by young people riding motorcycles and ATVs, and no precautions have been taken on this issue.
