When we were preparing for a trip to Vitebsk, we were recommended to have lunch at the Batkov Hut cafe. We visited an institution on Lenin Street, 61. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The food turned out to be tasteless (in total, we took salads, pilaf, dranik, pangasius fillet in batter and chicken roll). The dishes were very salty, it was not possible to eat pangasius at all, the minced meat in the dranik had an unpleasant taste. I was very surprised by the large number of drunk people around. As for cleanliness and comfort

The first day I had complaints about pilaf - whether it was leftovers, or just a mistake by the technologist, I had to chew on rice in the truest sense of the word! There is no refrigerator at all (in two weeks of traveling around Belarus, we took it 10 times - believe me, there was something to compare it with), and the pickle can be safely called a "pepper pot" by the number of peas fished out of it (my husband swallowed several more pieces). The impression of the food was dubious, but we put it down to the fact that the time was 15:30, by the standards of most canteens - very late.
For the second time, the opinion that the rating was clearly overestimated was unanimous: the baked potatoes turned out to be a little damp inside, the cabbage rolls were cold, but what put the fat on everything was the kvetka salad! He ended up with rotten meat. Although everyone unanimously told me that they had a passability, everything was just under the knife, but they refused to try it, although even the smell was sour. But, to be fair, I was immediately offered to replace the salad or refund the money.
In general, everything is clean and atmospheric, but the price tags are too high, and the food leaves much to be desired
