It was originally wooden, built in 1863, and shone with white light. In 1982, the lighthouse was completely rebuilt, and stone became the material for the new structure. For a long time it stood on the very shore, but after the reconstruction of the embankment in 2007-2013 it turned out to be "moved away" from the sea by several tens of meters, as it ceased to carry technical meaning, but acquired a tourist one. It stands almost in the center of the Park of Wonders, surrounded by other attractions, such as the Ferris Wheel and the sculpture "Ali and Nino". Inside the building, which is reached by a staircase of 75 steps and where tourists are not allowed access, there is a hydrographic service that monitors weather conditions around the clock. It's currently glowing red. It turns on and off in an automatic, preset mode.
