A beautiful castle with an interesting exposition. There are not many exhibits, but the zeitgeist feels good. There is a wonderful cafe next to the ticket office. Delicious and inexpensive. Be careful - the portions are very large

The castle's exposition is rather poor. Unfortunately, the observation deck was closed for restoration. But in general, it's worth a visit

We stopped by on the way from Riga to Vilnius. It's worth stopping by. It consists of two parts. "New" and ruins. The Rundal Palace of Biron is not far away. The "brother" of Peterhof and the Winter Palace.

Part of the castle has been restored. Part of it is under restoration. Beautiful courtyard. It is surrounded on both sides by rivers.
